Verwon Says:

This medication is listed as containing the active ingredient Loperamide, which is most commonly used to treat, or prevent diarrhea.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

It can be used in dogs, but you should only do so, under veterinary advice. Too much could cause abdominal pain, constipation, stomach pain, and flatulence.

Is there anything else I can help with?
