My doctor has prescribed ISMO 20 for angina and I have been using one 20mg tab a day for the past 22 days. Since the beginning i have had pain in my left jaw and a portion near the left ear. I have pain while chewing from the left side. I also have pain in the left side of my neck about 2 to 3 inches behind the left ear causing my neck to become a bit stiff. In the initial stages the pain was somewhat more, but now it is tolerable and the medication lasts for 6 hrs. Pls advise. Another Dr. told me that it is a banned drug. Kindly confirm.

Hello. I'm using it also but double the dose 3 times a day. My cardio doctor prescribed it to calm the heart down but I still have massive pains. It only helps for a short time. I have ischemic heart disease and 5 stents.

I wish to know whether ismo and ecosprin or ismo alone triggers vertigo? I am 75 years old and experiencing vertigo for the past 5 years occasionally. I have been taking ismo for the past 22 years and taken ecosprin for 4 years. My Dr. made a note on my case sheet that ecosprin was taken for 4 years. As I have BPPV he examined me. Has anybody suffering from BPPV or vertigo because of cervical spondylosis been advised to stop ismo? Kindly enlighten me on the subject.
