A round, light orange pill with the marking IP 253 on it is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 150mgs of Ranitidine, which is an antacid. (NDC 53746-253)

IP 253 pill

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and flatulence.

Is there anything else I can help with?

Karen Says:

It is an opiate blocker as I understand it and it caused my best friend to have a stroke from going into instant withdrawal and throwing up so hard an artery burst. She died

Re: Karen (# 5)

I'm so sorry for ur loss but if u swallow it, it will throw u into immediate withdrawal, is sublingual so u have to let it dissolve under tongue or it will immediately make u withdrawal...

Re: Pinky (# 10)

No, it is actually an antacid (Ranitidine). You can see comment # 1 for a picture.

Always do you homework? You clearly didn’t get this from a doctor. If you got it from a doctor, you don’t have to question it. If it’s from a pharmacy you don’t have to question it. Quit hiding that you're a junkie off the streets and they sold you antacids

Re: Karen (# 5)

Yeah it’s crap. I mean if you’re an addict that craves drugs it’s better than getting street drugs, but if you’re trying to avoid withdrawals with it you’re only making it worse.
