Although many have said one drug is the same as the other I find that Qualitest hydrocodone 10/325 seems to not affect me as far as making me drowsy and extremely tired. It does so help with the pain but it does not make me so I can not function. The other manufacturer Mallincor (spelling not right) their hydrocodone makes me so tired I have to literally go to bed. Strange I think that if two drugs are identical how can they have different effects to you. I found a white pill left at our business area yesterday. It is white and has M363 on one side and nothing on the other but just a line through the middle. I know it is a Hydrocodone but I don't know what milligram. Mallinckrodt still makes hydrocodone. Depending on lowest bidder, unless a drug is truly discontinued, that's who your pharmacy will stock. I am a tech and our pharmacy just changed to Mallinkrodt which I feel is an inferior product. ## What brand is the least troublesome ? Do you get many complaints from your opioid using customers ? I have been on Hydrocodone for 12 yrs.now and it just isn't strong enough to kill the pain any more. My pain management doctor does not have the credentials to even prescribe a schedule III, such as Oxycodone or Morphine. I have a fractured tailbone that never healed properly and experience severe muscle and nerve pain in the lower back shooting down my leg every day. I only want to be able to function. I just tasted a little lortab, not even 2 mg and I had to drug test about 12 hours later. I had a urine test that was sent to the lab. Will this show up? Is (1) hydrocodone-acetaminophen soln 7.5-500 the same as (2) hydroco/apap 7.5-500 sol (says qualitest on bottle)? The first one made me drowsy but I went to a different pharmacy for the other and it didn't have the same effect on me why is that? ## The information you've posted denotes them as both being the same, especially if the manufacturer was the same for both. Due to the risk of liver damage or failure that can be associated with long-term use of high amounts, as well as the risk of overdose, the FDA requested that all combination prescription products that contain Acetaminophen be lowered to contain no more than 325mgs per dose. That said, if you do intend to come off them any time soon, it should be vitally important to discuss tapering plans with your doctor first and foremost. When taking a urine drug test, will vicodin show up the same as morphine? ## No it will not. Hydrocodone is a semi-synthetic opioid medication. It's currently synthesized from thiabine and as such is no cross reactive with reagents used to detect opiates such as codeine and morphine. I have a prescription for Hydrocodone and have been taking it as prescribed. Recently I took a urine test which came back positive for not only Hydrocodone, but Oxycodone as well. I have only taken what has been prescribed to me, and do not take anything else. I do not know how Oxycodone showed up in this test. Since it is a generic, it can vary, at any given time, depending on who was offering the cheapest price, when the pharmacy had to restock their supply.
