How Long Can Valium Stay In Your System (Top voted first)

I took one Valium, and one hit off a joint. I had my urine tested two days later. Will I pass or fail?

NO HUN YOUR WRONG !! Dont scare people needlessly ! and please use spell check . Chronic users can test pos up to 6 weeks, occasional or one time use 7-10 days. If you got your info from your sister, and she's a nurse. Tell me where she works so i can avoid it like the plague !

30 days? Are you kidding me? It can stay in your system anywhere from 3 days too 2 weeks.. It all depends on the amount. Not 30 day since the last pill. Wow that's ridiculous.

Clonidine is non-narcotic blood pressure mad and the methadone clinic will not be testing for it. I was going to the clinic for about a year so I know that for a fact. Do your best to get off the done! That s*** is hardcore. If you can't get clean look into suboxon as the detox is cake compared to M-Done

I take methadone which slows ur metabolism down I took a couple valium for 3 days and after 4 weeks it's still showing in the lab test though it might not show in instant test idk. I'm praying it won't show up this weeks test. Like I said I know my metabolism is very slow but I think the,message here is peoples results can be very different in how long it stays in the body

From what I was able to gather Valium stays in your system for 3 to 5 days, depending on the mg's. Marijuana can stay in your system for up to 45 days, depending on how may times you smoke. There are certain cases were in can be completely out of you system after 2 weeks. I believe that you will most likely not pass your test.

Seven to twenty eight days. Depending on use. It will not help to piss alot, drink alot, or sweat. Only used once it is possible to be gone in three to four days.

Yes, valium stays in your system much longer then xanax and for me one time it took atleast twenty days for the valium to get out of my system, it may have even been a month. Anyhow valium stays in really long. So, if you have to use something and you are worried about drug testing use xanax, or nothing would be better.

yes, chronic users of valium who take daily dosages for years would have it out of system along with its metabolites before 30 days. I'd say for those using valium daily for a year or more expect the active metabolites in your system for a healthy individual to be gone 2-3 weeks post usage.
Please do not listen to everything you read on the internet. Valium while a long half life, does not for even those with severe liver dysfunction stay in system as long as what is mentioned. This doesn't mean valium doesn't have other problems with chronic use. One major issue is it is one of the benzo's with a very high lipid value, builds up after a few weeks of use in fat cells where it stores itself. Other than the fact it can cause sedation without even realizing it, for some, with long term use other problems such as neurotoxicity can occur. Unlikely by itself, nevertheless, not a first choice anxiolytic I would recommend using long term. Has very good therapeutic effects however for the short term(4 weeks)

trust me stay in your system up to 30 days I actually just got done taking a 10 panel drug test 30 minutes ago and it has been 21 days exactly since the last time I took a valium and I only took in about 30 milligrams And it still came up positive .active guy with a fast metabolism.so yes it can stay in your system30 days

lol Well said. From what i can gather theres people on these sites to scare people. obviously government officials or coppers or stuck up straight heads who dont like drug takers. I guess the only way to find out is to buy a drug test kit off any well known website and do it yourself and see how long the person who said drinking loads and urinating loads don't help coz it sticks in your fat cells is wrong. Cannabis sticks in your fat cells and I was a chronic user for years and i managed to get it out in 3 weeks by drinking lots of water and goin to the gym and gettin a good sweat on lol. So my advise if your worried is to go to a steam room or sauna and sweat like f*** and drink loads of water or cranberry juice etc.......... i will do a test myself and let you all know but as they also said it varies from person to person. I always thought about 2 weeks.

Quick question, I am on methadone and have been for 5 years now. I am just starting to go down on my methadone dosage so I can eventually get off this for good (hopefully) but I'm having major withdrawels, not sleeping, sweats, irritability.... My question is can I take clonidine and will clonidine show up in a drug test?
The methadone clinic I go to runs urine drug tests every week and I'm wondering if clonidine will show up in a urine test???????????? Plz help:) thanks alot

yes, I am on methadone maintenance as well and when I tapered the doctor prescribed clonodine .2 mg and it works great!! Good luck, and drink lots of water!!!
