I had gotten a prescription for fioricet with codeine back in December of 2014..... there were 30 pills and I was supposed to take 2 tablets a day. I'm not a pill person so I only took them AS NEEDED...... I still have half a script left n actually took one 2 days ago for a MAJOR headache (which is why they were prescribed). I have a hair drug test coming up for a job position in a factory. Will this count against me to where I don't get the job?

A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample of hair, cut at the scalp line, will go back 90 days. The fioricet most likely will not show up on a hair drug test as not many labs test for it. From what you described my gut feeling is that the codeine won't show up on a hair 5 drug panel test. For what is worth I also have a chronic headache and have gotten some relief from the herbs of Feverfew, Stinging Nettle and Butterbur. I'm not an doctor or herbalist so you might do your own research on the subject. I would start with Feverfew. You might consult an herbalist, I think her/she might be able to help.

As a general rule most saliva drug tests will only detect a drug is an approximate 6-72 hour window, depending on the drug tested for. My best guess is that you will be negative.

Took a pre-employment screen (35105n) sap 5-50 w/nit. I take Fioricet (butalbital/acetaminophen/caffeine) for headaches. Will the Fioricet show up on this particular 5 panel drug screen?
