I have a dry cough, sometimes the coughing is leading to vomiting. The cough is not there for few days but then it reoccurs. And while coughing my eyes also get watery and red. Please suggest a medicine.

Have any of you been checked for allergies? There are times that a dry cough can be cause by sinus drainage, due to allergic reactions, according to NIH reports. This can cause other symptoms, such as gagging, nausea, and vomiting.

Are any of you on any other medications? Or in your case, Elaine, is your son on any other medications?
