I dont know, but I'm trying to figure out the side effects of being out in the sun, as in burnt while on this medicine, because I'm getting a long bump bump, like I've been hit in the head, and my skin feels like it is on fire. How can I find out the side effcts of this antibiotic and the sun, because I'm getting a little worried.

When I rec'd my bottle, it had a sticker on it that says avoid exposure to excessive sunlight. I believe it makes you more sensitive. I did go to the tanning bed on day two of the meds, but it had been several hours since I took my dose and I just stayed half as long as usual. I didn't burn badly, but I did get more than usual in only half the time.

Yes, Stephanie is correct, it makes you much more sensitive to the sun, which is why you are warned to avoid sun exposure.
