I have been on dilaudid injections for several years and I want to get info on getting off of it. ## If you are on dilaudid injections for a long time, you should not try to get off of it on your own!!! this is very important because you can cause serious/fatal injury to your body. if it is from a dr prescription, they will gradually lower the dose and over time, you will be able to safely stop without injury. but this must be done under a dr's supervision. if you are taking it illegally, you need to see a dr, or, goto detox in a hospital, so you can safely come off of it. good luck, it is a hard drug to come off of, esp after taking it for so long.

what does a dilaudid 30 mg look like color shape and ## There is no 30mg Dilaudid pill on the U.S. market. Dilaudid contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone and regular release tablets are only available in a maximum of 8mgs, the extended release in 16mgs and and extended release capsule in 32mgs. There are also generics on the market and they will all have different markings to enable their identification. Are there any markings on the tablet you are questioning? I get chronic cluster migraines and I don't have insurance so I have to go to the hospital after days of no relief and trying Imitrex and Loratab to get the Dilaudid shot. My Dr. can no longer prescribe me the Lortabs because he is a state funded Dr. and they can no longer prescribe narcotics. Since I can't get anything from him any longer is there anywhere online to get Dialaudid pill or even shot because it's seems to be the only thing that works when I get them? ## Whether or not he is state funded would have nothing to do with his ability to prescribe such medications. There are doctors, hospitals and clinics everywhere that receive state funding, but can still prescribe controlled substances, where appropriate. Therefore, I have to assume that there is some other reason...

just try to get a handle on percocet compared to diluadid percocet i have 10 trs experience with dilaudid none. thanks, noble ## The Hydromorphone in the Dilaudid is actually stronger than the Oxycodone in the Percocet and a general equivalent daily dose of it would be approximately 22.5mgs, which would be divided up in several doses, throughout the day. Since it is also a narcotic, the side effects are very similar and may include: nausea, dizziness, constipation and headache. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with?

i have a friend who snorted what he thought was 1 mg of dilaudid pill and he is speeding his nuts off. is that bad? or do u think he might have done something else on accident? please answer quick. i may need to take him to the hospital ## Any time that you fear for the health or life of someone, it's always best to contact your nearest emergency services, or take them there, rather than posting on a free website and waiting for an answer. And no, Dilaudid is a narcotic, which contains the active ingredient Hydromoprhone, it is a narcotic and, while it can cause a high effect in some people, their normal actions actually involved depressant effects. How's he doing, now?

Recently the Dr gave me Dilaudid 4 mg to take 3 per day. I've not had Dilaudid since the old K-4's were out there. Therefore I knew nothing about them. I told the Phar. that I "definitely" wanted the name brand. I was charged $130.00 for 86 tablets and was assured that they were the name brand. The ones I got said Dilaudid but made by Purdue so the tablet had a 4 on one side and a P on the other. They looked just like the old K-4's but they are not near as good. I've learned by looking on the computer that they no longer make the K-4's and hear that you're talking old school when talking about Dilaudid K-4. I can get the Generic for $2.50. However, I need to crush them and I inject them in muscle. They look just like the old K-4's when cooked. I do th...

Need help fast have lots of pain and do not want to take too much at once... ## Do these pills have a score line in the middle on either side? If so, then yes they are meant to be cut in half specifically for these purposes. If they do not have a score line then I personally would still cut them in half if a whole pill was too much to handle. That is just me, if your looking for someone else's opinion on doing so. I am not an MD or pharmacist, so alternatively I wou...

OversyHad dilaudid 8miug recently Pres. 3 daily. Pharacist caused all kind of trouble. Stating he disagrees with the. Dr. Ultimately causing my insurance to demand a pre authorization and then refusing to allow me to pay cash until the Dr.had to call him personally. Did the pharm ## No, the pharmacist did nothing wrong. If he feels he has reason to be concerned about a controlled substance prescription, he can and should speak up about it. He is, after all, held responsible for what moves through his pharmacy. Pharmacists are taught to question any medication prescriptions that they feel may be suspicious. Whatever his reasoning was, whether he though it looked funny as written, or he was concerned about the dosage and amount, he obviously had a valid enough point to get the attention o...

small white pill ## please give me the proper use for dilauden ## There is no drug listed under that name, did you perhaps mean Dilaudid? If so, Dilaudid is Hydromorphone, a very potent narcotic pain reliever. It is very strong and not intended for use by people who have not previously used and have a tolerance to opiates. It has high addictive potential, as well. ## Hey I'm thinking of switching my prescription over from oxycodone 30 mg to dalluden.....I'm trying to figure out how many mgs of dalluden would be equivalent to one 30 mg oxycodone

small round white pill, m on one side, 4 on the other side ## That would be Hydromorphone 5mgs. Hydromorphone ## Incidentially, regarding my recent inquiry about amount of dilaudid I am using, I have been on ppiates for over 20 years, stemming from a horrific auto accident in 1985; Talwin, ocycontin 80mg; Fentaynal; and Kadian; now dilaudid. All heavy doses so I believe I am very well tolerant to opiates ( basically an addict, I'm sorry to say!) ## I am a normal teenage mother and recently have been suspicious of my daughter using drugs. are they a solid white pill? ## A legal Dilaudid tablet from a U.S. approved source would have an imprint on the tablet. Some are white, but they all have markings and that is the only way to positively identify them. Are there any markings on the tablet in question?
