Contrave And Co-codamol
UpdatedHi, I take co-codamol 30/300mg but want to start contrave. Are there serious side effects with this?

Co-Codamol contains Codeine, as one of its active ingredients, so you do need to be in full withdrawal from it, before taking Contrave, because taking the Contrave too soon could cause you to go into dangerous precipitated withdrawals.
The NIH lists these symptoms as possibly including nausea, dizziness, fever, chills, diarrhea, and rebound pain.
What has your doctor advised? Are you on any other medications?
