why is it that I cannon get a prescription filled for coltrazine?
Well, it inhibits cell growth, slowly killing the body. It could be a liability issue. I'd say call your doctor and have them call it in somewhere for you.
Just FYI for anyone else who may read this ... the drug is colchicine, not coltrazine.
From what I've found, at one point there was a brand name for it that was Coltrazine, but yes the active ingredient is Colchicine.
It's a toxic natural product that's used to treat gout, but the fact that it is toxic has raised serious safety concerns.
The most common adverse effects, if used carefully and at the approved doses, are nausea and stomach irritation.
