Chronic Pain Help

Updated

Hi, i have been reading through this site for a while and i found that a lot of people are having troubles because of FDA regulations for pain meds. Doctors are not willing to prescribe pain meds, even if you are a proved chronic pain patient. Having medical records is not a warranty neither to get a prescription for your medication so, what in the earth is people going to do? should people just die or be in pain forever. Some people may find a way to be out of pain without pain meds, but what about the others who dont. i think government should do anything else but putting restrictions and regulations. Please i would like those in pain to share your opinion with me. {edited for privacy}. i will gladdly take your solicition. God Bless America!

I have been in mmt for 9 yrs. I'm wanting to get out of the program and get real help for my chronic pain problems but the np I'm seeing said it would be nearly impossible to find a dr to treat me. My right knee needs replaced and I have severe lower back pain. What do I do?

It's sad to think this thread is from 3 years ago & things have only gotten worse. You're either a drug seeker, a junky, a now miserable (lifelong pain sufferer), or a guinea pig puppet for big pharma & their "associates" while they make billions launching revolutionary rx heroes like methadone or suboxone & a few other opioid tx control tactics that seem like miracle drugs until you try to get off them or you're forcefully taken off them & oh no, the withdrawals are astronomically longer & more severe than they would've been had you stopped taking prescription opioids or even heroin on your own. Hence, the huge uptick in subsequent (or as they like to put it in an effort to minimize the horrific epidemic they've created) "unintended consequences." Because of that, we have a suicide epidemic running rampant, or desperate folks turning to the streets for any amount of relief and becoming full-blown addicts or overdosing because of the reckless dictatorship in regards to pain management & the hell that follows thanks to the authorities & their meddling bulls***.
