i am using cetapin xr 500 mg for the last 18 months and developed scalp psoriasis and indegestive problems

Cetapin XR contains a time released formulation of Metformin, which is an oral antidiabetic medication that's used to help lower and control blood sugar.

The digestive issues can be a side effect of it, but I've never heard of it causing psoriasis.

iam 26 old & dedicuted pre diabaties 10 months bacb.iam in control now.my hba1c result is always between 6 to 6.3 &now iam useing cetapin xr 500mg thrice daily.my weight is 58kgs & height is 5.5 am i all right with the facts...and the good news is iam 2 months pregenent now....your recomendations is....

My physician has recomnded Cetapin -Xr 500 mg 1 Tab daily after Brfast . My Fasting sugar was nearly 126 and PP goes 240 without any medicine . Now i have started this medicine from last 15 days , lotof gas formation for first weeks and uneasyness but now comfortable . should i continue this or needed other salt and 500 mg is ok .

After my health check our physician has recommended Cetapin -Xr 500 mg 1 Tab daily.My Fasting sugar was nearly 140 . Now i have started this medicine from last 5 month and there no much improvement . should i continue this.

I've been using metformin for almost 2 years now. I have had indegestive problems too and the reason I found was unhealthy food. When I ate oily, fried and very spicy food it seemed to affect me but once I switched to home cooked meals it started working for me.
