Falexin (Cefalexina) Andromex

What are these for? I was given Falexin 500mg in Mexico, but don't know anything about them. They are blue and white capsules. ## From what information I was able to gather, Falexin is a brand name for Cephalexin (cefalexina); which comes in 500mg doses. They are manufactured by a pharmaceutical company called Farabi based in Iran. What should the dosage of this med be. Adult female approx 130.lbs. ## The usual Adult dose for an Upper Respiratory Tract Infection is 250 to 500 mg orally every 6 hours for 7 to 10 days. I have a long history of sinusitus and MD has given me antibiotics to use. After 3 days with 1 cephalexin 100 mg p/day. Would swithcing to cephalexin 500 mgs 4x p day get faster results??? The general rule with antibiotics is that if they are working, you shouldn't see any worsening after taking them for a full 24 hours, and you should see some improvement after taking them for a full 3 days. It is consistent dosing that's important, you have to keep it in your system at a consistent regular level, in order for it to eradicate the bacteria. So, you can take it, either way, whichever works best for you, but keep the timing as precise as possible.
