Looks like this is used to treat swelling and skin rashes due to infections. It has the following ingredients:
Clotrimazole IP, Beclomethazone Dipropionate IP (Benzyl Alcohol IP, Methylparaben IP , Propylparaben IP) Cream Base.

Being a topical creme, it should have safety instructions on how and where to apply it. If it does not say where to apply it, it may be ok to try starting off with a small amount on your face to see how well you react to it and bas your decision off of that test.

Also, If this is a filled prescription, your doctor should have given you instructions of some sort; you should contact your doctor or local pharmacy if you experience any undesirable side effects associated with the application of this creme. The manufacturer of this medication is Glenmark Pharma. If you are based overseas in or around india where the company is, you can contact them by phone or email through the link below (regarding how often you should apply this creme): http://www.glenmarkpharma.com/UITemplate/HtmlContainer.aspx?res=P_GLN_CONTACT
