Can Cymbalta Effect Your Judgement

I have been taking Cymbalta for about four months and it wasn't long before I noticed that I became almost instantly overly social. I have never been a social person, but now I feel like I laugh and talk way too much. Then I started saying inappropriate things I don't mean. Does anyone have this problem. I never had this problem in the past as I was not very social. It seems that all of my judgement has gone right out the door. I am afraid to even open my mouth anymore. Please help !

Sorry about the problem that you're having.

And yes, it is well known that some of these types of medications can have odd effects on some people that take them.

While being more social and talkative isn't necessarily a huge problem, saying inappropriate things can definitely be an issue and you should talk to your doctor about it.

There are other similar medications you can try that may not cause you the same types of issues.
