Hello. I am desperate for some advice tonight so thought I would post here. My boyfriend has taken suboxone on his own in the past and quit oxycodone and did fine. This time around he was taking about 40 mg methadone per day. He waited about 50 hrs before starting the Buprenorphine. He at first took a quarter and then a half and couldn't really tell a difference so we figured since it wasn't worse he must not be getting precipitated withdrawals. So this evening he has been feeling really awful but it isn't helping him to take buprenorphine. He has taken about 2 throughout the day. He is very restless and miserable. He can't sleep and is in a lot of withdrawal. My question is if it was from precipitated withdrawals wouldn't this have happened earlier in the day when h...

The round white pill with M 924 is buprenorphine 8mg sublingual tablets used to treat opiate dependency. It is NOT a blood pressure pill. ## I go to Kmart pharmacy. And I get buprenorphine 8mgs every mouth 2 times daily. I need every help I can to pay for my script. ## Hello Pharmaceuticalman, Correct. According to the NIH database this is a 8mg Buprenorphine Hydrochloride Sublingual pill which is used to treat opiate dependency. I'm not sure who told you that it was a pressure pill. In case you were interested I provided some additional information below on this pill from the NIH. Normally my subutex I thought was really tiny, round white. This time it's a larger tablet white round with RP on one side b 8 on other. I looked at an old bottle it said ROX after sub Today's says RHO after sub. Both saying Buprenorphine. Is this Subutex like I'm suppose to be getting? I use to get the strips which I much prefer because they're easier to cut up and take smaller mgs if I choose. But I have no insurance and the price difference is outrages. Thank you ## Hello char, The pill you are describing matches a buprenorphine 8mg pill according to the NIH. Both of these pills contain the same active ingredient but come from different manufacturers and so the inactive ingredients are going to be different. If you have not noticed any changes in the way that the pill...

My husband is an addict of quidict.....he starting take this medicine for drug treatment.....He stopped taking the drug but he is now an addict of quidict... ## Quidict is a very good med for drug addiction problem. U can't overdose it. U can easily taper off it without any prob. I'm pretty much sure that if he stops taking it. Then he will start taking the drug. Under medical supervision it is a Super medicine. Only need to take a pill in a day. So don't ask him to stop quidict. ## Actually that part is incorrect, you can overdose on it, just as you can on any other medication, if you take too much of it. It contains the active ingredients Buprenorphine and Naloxone, the Buprenorphine is a very potent narcotic, so someone certain could overdose on it. And Bharti, how long h...

WHICH IS BETTER? I have been on a dose of 150mg of Methadone for approx. 8 or so years. I just recently heard of this drug Buprenorphine which is taken instead of Methadone. Does anyone know if this line of treatment is better or worse than Methadone treatment for Opiate Addicts such as myself? Thank You Very Much ## I used to be addicted to oxycontins, I started taking methadone but figured it wasnt any better for me than the oxy's. The buprenorphine is probably a better way for you to go. I am now on suboxone. They started me off with a med called subutex and you take it for the first three days and then they switch you to suboxone they are two different meds. One blocks only one receptor and the other blocks both. To get high, you need these two receptors to be open to feel the d...

I need a pharmacy that carries the buprenorphine sublingual 8 milligram tablets besides Walmart ## It depends upon where you live, but my local Walgreens carries them, and a few locally-owned pharmacies do too. One thing is most pharmacies won't tell you over the phone, you're gonna have to go in and ask the pharmacist :/ I know that's rough sometimes, aside from the issue of driving all over creation from pharmacy to pharmacy there's the weird feeling that you're being judged by the pharmacist... There's a lot of totally unnecessary stigma around taking any controlled substance, especially bupe and methadone. Just hold your head high, remind yourself that you're okay exactly how you are and nobody has any right to judge your life, be polite and straightforwa...

I'm looking for some feedback on the generic brands they only had sun pharma, actavis and hikma in my area of southwest Florida. Last month I picked up the brand hikma 54 411 from a grocery store/ pharmacy and my insurance covers/pays for most of my co pay which is always $45 monthly for my 120 pills. At this store they charged me 3 x that amount. I never heard of that..so now I'm thinking I might have to try the other of the 2. ## Hi Charlene, Sorry to hear about the unethical price gouging you encountered. While I don't have personal experience with those other manufacturers, I did want to add that someone else's experience with them doesn't necessarily dictate how your body will react or respond to the same medication; whereas the only way to know for certain is t...

I have been on suboxone treatment program for 7 years and I have been on the Amneal AN 415 generic tablets ever since they removes the name brand. I live in Clarke county Alabama. I have recently been switched to the Actavis white 155 round pills and I hate them. I am not able to find the AN 415 Amneal tablets anywhere that I have found???? Anyone know a place that has them around me?? I'll even travel for them cause I work construction already and usually am traveling alot anyway??? Any info will be greatly appreciated ## I had the same problem when my pharmacy switched manufacturers. Because Actavis brand contains a filler ingredient which Amneal does not, I became so sick. I had to switch to the film/strips and they were much better. Maybe you can ask dr to write for films? Good ...

I have been a chronic marijuana smoker for years. Recently have had to quit for my job. It took over two months to finally pass clean for THC except that i consistently show positive for Buprenorphine. I do not take any other drugs legal or not, except i do chew tobacco regularly - Is there any possible connection? ## No, it doesn't make sense that the tobacco would cause it. Do you take anything that's available over the counter, at all? ## Claritin d not since last year and aspirin other than that nothing ## I recently (supposedly) tested positive for buprenorphine in spite of the fact that I've never knowingly taken it. I have been taking morphine (IR and ER) and tizanidine (Zanaflex) for over three years (chronic pain due to bulging/torn discs in lumbar spine). I am also...

Hi I have been taking the hi tech bupe (white pill with 8 and arrow) for a couple years and recently this month I’ve noticed that it effects me differently and does not last as long, makes me very sleepy, etc. I was Looking at them to see if they are different in any way and all I noticed is the arrows seem to go in different directions on every pill. Maybe I’m just paranoid but I thought before, the arrow lined up straight with the 8. On these ones, some go straight across horizontal and point to left or right and some point diagonally either with the arrow facing up or down. I’m just wondering if they have always been that way, especially since I’ve felt different I worry about counterfeit meds. I’d hope that couldn’t happen at a pharmacy but who kn...

Logo similar to half/crescent moon! Print 155 on other side! This is the brand of suboxone I always filled at the pharmacy in noblesville Indiana! My pharmacy just recently switched brands and the pharmacy doesn't accept my insurance either! Finding a new pharmacy in my area is crucial because not only will I have the medicine that I'm accustomed to brand wise, the new potential pharmacy more than likely will accept my insurance saving me 400 dollars a month! I live in Madison county Indiana but I attend a doctor in Carmel/fishers Indiana! If anyone knows of a pharmacy carrying my brand that's not wal greens then the information would be crucial! It's not like you can call and ask them! They'll tell you if you go in but the issue is I work 40+ hours a week and on top...

So I have been on bup for 3 years and I have been gettin the 5411s, today I went and got them and they are imprinted with M924, has anyone ever taken these new ones and do they feel the same and have same ingredients?? Any information will be helpful! I know I read it's just another generic brand but just curious to know more about it, thanks. ## Hi, I have not really noticed a difference between the two except my friend takes them and he said they are not exactly the same for sure. Tell me if you find input on anything else please. ## 25 Years in pharmaceuticals. I can tell you that Actavis (Orange half moons) are NOT stingy on the bupe they put in their pills, unlike the 5411s and Mys (White Pills). The white ones are not putting enough bupe in theirs due to production costs. The ...

can i put my butran patch over my tattoo without messing it up ## I'm unable to find any sort of advice on this topic over the internet...But in reality if you are worried about anything happening to your tattoos, then I would look into other alternative or natural pain medications beside patches. I have been taking 8mg subutex for at least 3yrs now due to an allergic reaction to suboxone films and when I went to the doctor yesterday he said he could only prescribe subutex to pregnant women only.
