Bronkaid Tablet Availability (Page 5) (Top voted first)

Are we sure that bronkaid tablets haven't been taken off the market in some areas? I went to 3 different drug stores today, in Columbus County, North Carolina, to purchase, and there was an empty shelf where they once were. Not even the pharmacists could say whether they had been discontinued.

HI, yes bronkaid has been discontiued. it was around for many years but they stopped making it. I tried the Primatine tablets and they seem to do the job and look to have the same ingredients as Bronkaid. I found the Primatine at a Walmart store but most pharmacy stores carry it too. You have to check around. It might be available on the internet too.

Bronkaid had been recalled in December, but was suppose to go back on the market at the end of February. I cannot find it anywhere. The tablets are so much better than primatene tabs which end up giving me the shakes. If I find them i will repost and let you know where to buy. I live in Virginia.

Sometimes its just not there because it has all been purchased. I feel like pharmacists dont say one way or the other due to reasons like.. It may not have been reordered, its on backorder, they screwed up selling it under FDA guidelines and are not sure whether they are able to get more for resale, or because they have an evaluation process and were too lazy or busy to answer and the number one reason....wrongly educated about persons who take it, what their intent of use is, blah blah blah. I got looks of disgust because it invokes a stereotype that they have "heard" about. I took my 70 year old mom with me to same pharmacy which is her regular pharmacy and they even attempted to do it to her. I say attempted because I let it rip on the pharmacy employees and pharmacist about WHY some people take it. That they have no right to judge anyone who is following the law. I asked do they treat those that get regular pain meds like morphine or hydrocodone or fentanyl patches the same way? Just because its on a prescription tablet given by a physician does not make it safer or the person taking it any better than I. I also said I hated the color coats they wore because they all looked fat in them.! Ha! The attention I got then! I followed that up with "see, that's how ridiculous your attitude is to bronkaid users." Also let some choice words about the mistreatment of my mother which I cannot share! Yes I still go there. Need I say, I am assisted with courtesy however I know that there are whispers amongst them whenever they see me coming or going!

my husband is super addicted and in denial. our life is a roller coaster and I'm ready to get off. have you been successful of staying off? did you ever drink vodka with them as well? he seems to do that too. nightmare

I wrote on here right around the time Bronkaid was taken off the shelves for the label. I was so desperate and distraught because I was taking 35 (aprx) a day. I turned to Primatine Tables - half the ephedrine than the Bronkaid, and more expensive. I WAS ADDICTED! (notice I said WAS). Anyone else going or go through this? It was the hardest thing to get off of. I was on them on and off for 10 years; I started them before they became only available behind the counter. This is a hard addiction to overcome, but after 7 days of detox and taking a vac. from work, I did it. Anyone else have or had this addiction? Thanks.

Don't take any drugs or pills or vitamins, all these are extremely dangerous.
Just learn about foods . Vegetable and fermented foods like polish sauerkraut ,kefir and buttermilk .

I have been taking bronkaid for about 8 years now. Everyday I take 60 pills and I am concerned with what this might be doing to my body long term? What is it going to do to my liver or kidneys from taking so many everyday for so long? I know it can't be good. If anyone has any idea that would be helpful. Thanks
