Hello, Audrey! How are you?

Did you mean 1,000 micrograms?

Biotin isn't dosed in milligrams.

Those instructions mean that you can take anywhere from one to 5 per day. This is classified by the FDA as a nutritional supplement, but since a deficiency in it is so rare, there actually isn't an RDA for it, but most supplements recommend 5,000mcgs per day.

The FDA doesn't list any known side effects, but if you have any medical conditions or are on any medications, please check with your doctor, before taking it.

Usually biotin or any other vitamins comes in micrograms not milligrams! If you take over 5000 micrograms you can overdose and not know it! Milligrams are too strong! Depending on the vitamin!
