I am 32 yrs, I had knee pain and ortho doctor suggested me Glucosamine + Diacerein Tablets for a month - Am I a patient of arthritis ? I am too young, How long should I continue the medicine ?

Have you asked your doctor about what they think is causing the problem and how long you should take the medication? They are the only ones that will really be able to advise you on this.

Athritis, however, is possible at any age, there are people even younger than you that suffer from it.


The Glucosamine is a substance that naturally occurs in your joints, so supplementing it may help. The Diacerein is often given to treat arthritis, but it isn't used in the U.S., so the information we have on it is very limited.
