Can Xylocaine be used for back pain? ## What kind of pill is oval and white with "V" on one side and "014" on the other side? ## I found a white pill in my driveway. It's not oval but oblong with the markings on one side "014" and on the other it appears to be a large "V" and in the middle of the V there is a small "c" imprinted. I'm wondering if this might be some kind tylenol or aspirin of some sort that perhaps fell out of my husbands truck? ## Does this help with lower back pain? I have 2 fractures and degenerative disc disease. Also, does it work like a steroid?

How much should an injection of this stuff cost in a hospital environment? They knocked me out for 5 minutes for a failed cardioversion and charged > $2k for the Brevital! ## Breavital contains Methohexital sodium, it is a short acting anesthetic. As to how much it should cost, that is entirely up to the hospital. There is no hard and fast rule that says any drug should only cost a certain amount. Each hospital has its own formula, that starts with how much they pay for their supply, broken down by dosages. On top of that, other costs are factored in, such as the syringe, the surrounding medical care, the cost of the salary of the person for the time they had to take to give it to you and etc. All of these factors can add up, really fast, to very high amounts for medications adminis...

Hi, My mother takes zenoxa 300 twice a day. She has had two seizures - one this year and one last year around the same time. On starting, the seizures don't stop and the doctors had to administer general anesthetic for it to stop. The doctors have prescribed zenoxa 300 twice a day. Do you think it will stop her seizures for the rest of her life? What other medicine may be good if this is not a good option.

Just wnet to the dentist and was given quite a bit of isocaine...can I still nurse? ## The active ingredient in Isocaine is the local anesthetic Mepivicaine. From the information I can find, it is not known whether or not this is excreted in breast milk. Have you tried asking your doctor or the dentist? If you are unsure, it may be advisable to wait at least 24 hours, before going back to breast feeding your baby, just to be on the same side.

dirty urine while taking lidoderm ## i use two lidoderm patches 24hrs ago, will this show up on a drug test ## Lidoderm patches contain the active ingredient Lidocaine, a topical anesthetic. And no, there is nothing in this that would cause a positive result on a drug test, especially with the patches, because you absorb very little of it. Is there anything else I can help you with?

Just let the mro know ## That is correct, some of them do contain Cocaine derivatives, however, the amounts are usually so small that they don't show up on drug screenings, unless too much was used or you had several procedures in a row. this is listed on a drug test, and just wondered what it is ## Phencyclidine is commonly known as PCP PCP (phencyclidine) was developed in the 1950s as an intravenous anesthetic. It has been used in veterinary medicine but was never approved for human use because of problems that arose during clinical studies, including delirium and extreme agitation experienced by patients emerging from anesthesia. PCP is illegally manufactured in laboratories and is sold on the street by such names as angel dust, ozone, wack, and rocket fuel. Killer joints and crystal supergrass are names that refer to PCP combined with marijuana. The variety of street names for PCP reflects its bizarre and volatile effects. PCP is a white crystalline powder that is readily soluble in water or alcohol. It has a distin...

it makes you tell the truth without you knowing it ## The medical name for what is refered to as Truth Serum is called Sodium Pentothal. But it is a common misperception that Sodium Pentothal will actually make somebody tell the truth against their will. Rather it acts more as a general anesthesia by depressing the central nervous system. So while it could lower somebody's inhibitions (like when you go to a bar a have a few drinks), it cannot actually make somebody tell the truth against their will.
