Ampyra contains the active ingredient Dalfampridine, it used to treat MS symptoms.

That said, it seems some people have been getting good results from, there is another post you can read here:

It can cause side effects such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and headache.

Has anyone that used the walker/wheelchair used the drug? What were your results?

I was working with Physical Therapy to advance from a wheelchair to a walker already and then added Ampyra to the mix. I can't say for sure whether the Ampyra helped, or the PT just finally kicked in, but I am now just using a walker rather than the wheelchair.
As far as side effects, I did notice insomnia for the first week of taking the medicine, but it tapered off after that week and I've not had any other side effects. I'm also on Avonex and Copaxone (double therapy). :) I guess it's hard to say which therapy worked for me specifically, but I'm happy to say that whatever it was did work.
