Altace For Angina Treatment

I was wondering if anyone can answer one question for me,... I'm on altace 5mg. Of course i have angina, doctor keep telling me i will never get a heart attack, is that true or false? I get the feeling he tells me that so i do not panic however i need to know the truth, so i can take care of myself better than i do right now. Would someone kindly let me know?

No one can say that you WILL never get a heart attack, it is always possible, no matter what medications you are taking. So yes, taking care of yourself is advisable, even if you aren't worried about having a heart attack.
