I've tried and used Teva/Barr, Lannett, Core pharma, AURO (worst imo), and now just got Rhodes. Not sure if RHODES is making me spacey, sleepy, anxious and low energy, bloated, headache. All are often indications that the active ingredients are meh. There are so many manufacturers out nowadays, it's a revolving door and it's adding to the already difficult challenges many people have experienced since the pandemic. Lordy. Rhodes? The worst. Don't get it filled ## 100% agreed!!!! I have been on Adderall generic IR since January 2014. Always filled @ CVS. All previous scripts were manufactured by TEVA. (Large football shaped, orange, sweet tasting & 30mg.) They worked great!!!! Until this past Wednesday (Aug 19th, 2014) I went to pick up my script as usual and didn't think anything of it until the next morning when I had to take one. It wasn't the same shape or taste. (This one was round, orange and a chalky bitter taste.) So I took my usual dosage and Bam Nothing happened, I was like WTF!!!! So I looked at the bottle and this new script was manufactured by Aurobindo. This pill does nothing! I've taken 4 pills total and am calling the pharmacy ASAP.... Perhaps the Adderall is to help you with ADHD? That is typically the only reason one takes Adderall...if they have a focusing deficit and need the mediciine to concentrate. Some people who have ADD are very wired and excitable so doctors put them on things like Clonodine, (but usually not Xanax), to help calm them down. My 23-yr old daughter has been on Adderall for eight years, with the prescription covered all that time by the same insurance/HMO provider. This month, her doctor (or perhaps the pharmacist) switched her to a new "generic" for Adderall - "Dextroamp Amphet" - and the insurance provider has written us to say they won't cover it. Seriously? Sandoz is the best generic ir adderall I've used. August 11, 2017 I was told by the pharmacist they no longer produce this product. I asked if brand name was available and was told yes. When I received them I noticed they were made by Teva and let me tell you they are awful. I don't know what to do if I can't find a decent generic brand. ## Activis (spell check?) is pretty good. I recently filled an Adderall prescription while I was in Mexico and they are little white round pills with a bold "LN" printed on one side. Are these a legitimate brand of this medicine? ## I've done some research and the problem I've found with these pills is that people have purchased small, white round tablets with the bold LN marking as various medications in Mexico. Hi! I'm new to this forum, but not really new to mental health. I've struggled with OCD, depression, and anxiety my whole life and have taken many different meds for them in my 29 years. But this post isn't about me. It's about my boyfriend. We moved in together in March of this year. I knew he frequently had mood swings, but I wasn't sure why. I am currently on a generic version of Adderall to moderate my A.D.D. My doctor advised to avoid citrus fruits, like grapefruit, when taking my meds. She said that if i do eat citrus, make sure it is 2 hrs after i have taken the medicine. My question is, will my meds be affected if i've eaten grapefruit 4 hours after taking my morning dose and when i take my second dose in 2 hours? Camber's new generic for Adderall IR 15mg is no good. Prior to it I got 10mg Adderall from CVS and it worked great! Just got a fill from Kroger since CVS was out of stock. The brand is from Camber and not only does it not work, it makes me feel unwell, sleepy and super irritated. It’s crazy how companies are able to differentiate in their generics like they do. Has anyone who has taken Adderall IR for more than five years (or at anytime) experienced a severe skin ulcer? ## No I have taken it off and on since 2005, BUT different generics use different fillers so maybe you have an allergy? ## It is not listed by the FDA as a known side effect of taking Adderall, the typical ones include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, mood changes, weight loss, and anorexia. I have a bottle of 90 Sandoz Adderall that I don't wan't. It's giving me headaches. I know the pharmacy won't take it back. How do I properly dispose of it without harming the environment? ## HI, Jane! You can take it to your pharmacy for disposal, that's usually one of the things they do. The other option recommended by the FDA actually isn't great for the environment, they instruct you to mix it in with some undesirable substance, such as used cat litter or coffee grounds, place it into a sealed container and dispose of it in the trash. Are these suppose to have the beads inside them or is it powder form? Theyre orange 30mg capsuls with R-3061 on them. Took one and immediately fell asleep? ## There doesn't appear to be any photos of this pill online, however, I did come across posts from others stating that this particular capsule imprinted with "R 3061" does in fact have beads. I do find it odd how it put you sleep, considering that one of the side effects of this drug is insomnia. Today I picked up my 20mg x 2 daily adderall IR Instead of my usual adderall made by teva brand i was given a new type that I have never had before..it's supposedly a newer generic version from Lannett pharmaceuticals. It looks just like teva accept it's a lighter shade of peach color and it doesn't have that sweet flavor. It's more chalky like..its early evening and I decided to try one two hours have gone by and still nothing. My normal pharm was out of orange had to get pink 20 Mgs which I will never do again they simpley are the cheapest generic and that is the main reason they chose them. I've been on 20mgs 2 a day for many years and have never needed an increase ! I have not had to go to the only other pharmacy within 25 miles but I wish I had after remembering the pink ones do not work for me at all ! I am very concerned and confused about why generic Adderall brands are so all over the place!! I usually get Aurora brand and I'm fine with it but last month I got this corpharma brand crap, it made my stomach ache and gave me a headache! It was terrible.
