Adderall Manufactured By Teva Not Working (Page 70)

I have had two refills of Adderall 20 mg that was manufactured by Teva/barr (Teva) and it seems to have much less medication in each pill. Refills by another manufacturer work. This is ridiculous, and where do we report Teva and who can check each pill for amount for medication? I would gladly donate some of my worthless ones to the FDA?

Agree and today is 6-6-23 and just got new month’s RX filled. I specifically asked for teva and got it and was so thankful… until I took it. I vary between 20mg pills and 30mg pills but my max daily Amt is 60mg. I have been having to add a OTC caffeine pill called vivarin for 5 years now.
My biggest complaint is that no matter what I do- I’ve been on adderall at least 30 yrs, the past 10-15 yrs I can’t feel the same motivation or interest to do things that adderall ORIGINALLY HELPED With. I have tried all the anti dep and not going back. I had 1-2 days of feeling better from all the varieties of meds. Nothing helps. BY THE WAY- my RX ins aarp/United health has not been covering adderall or my morphine or oxy RX. But afderall cost me $250 last month and one time when I asked for brand - whatever that mean- it cost $1000!!! My Dr wrote medically necessary on this recent RX and I recieved teva… blah, WTH is going on with laxity? Oh yeah?? IT’S THAT EQUITY NONSENSE - that means hiring ppl based on skin color and not education in the field they are working in. Don’t tell me no one knows what I’m talking about…. Thx for feedback Re meds/loss of effectiveness/cost/insurance not covering and recommendations. Lastly for anyone thinking about taking more will get you the feeling you want….. back in 2008 my sister had 2 DR’s giving her adderall (before it was illegal) she died from a seizure. Just sharing.

Did some digging. Teva recently sold their biggest manufacturing spot in India to a new firm. The new firm still supplies Teva’s medications, though.

The sale/transfer started when the shortage began, and was just fully transferred over the last couple months. Promises to “double production” were present. HMMM.

I don’t care what anyone says, the adderall ain’t the same anymore. The exact same Teva pills do nothing for my ability to focus anymore. In fact my focus is nonexistent. A slew of weird new side effects. Can a consumer lab please test?

This is partially correct, however, Richwood Pharmaceuticals, of Florence, KY USA purchased the rights from Rexar Inc, (NY) technically manufactured the original formulation from the 1960's until, 1994/1995. Thus, the marketing name was successfully changed from "Obetrol" to "Adderall" (IR version). By 2001/2002 years forward Shire Richwood Inc d/b/a ShireUS Inc. "successfully" were the correct manufacturer addy (Florence KY). Thank you. Sources: PDR (1968) + PDR Generics (1995) + PDR (2002).

P.S. Rexar Pharmacel Corp. technically mfg "Obetrol" 10 mg & 20 mg tabs, both I.R., d/b/a "Obetrol Pharmaceuticals" 382 Schenck Ave, Brooklyn NY 11207. Exact same formulation as Adderall I/R.

Are you ok? What the F does employee skin color have to do with the quality of medicine? Stop voting for racist capitalists who are against REGULATIONS that would require medication to be the strength it claims to be.
