Best Generic Adderall Brands (Page 36)

Is the round pink 30 mg Adderall generic name Sandoz/Eon with the markings of CDR 136 on one side more or less effective than the oval orange 30 mg Adderall generic name Barr/Teva with the markings of b974 on one side and 30 on the other side? What is the most effective/potent Adderall that is generic and 30 mg?

Also hit/miss in my experience. Weird. Amazing how Manufacturers are getting away with fraud. When they get caught they get warning letters and a slap on the wrist by the FDA.

Has anyone tried the Epic pharma genetics that supposedly bought out the old CorePharma formula, but have a different insignia on the pill Epic pharma supposedly bought out corepharma and has released their own version which look the same but say E135 on them I Believe instead of the old CorePharma’s “Cor 136”. Same color as the CorePharma, and same shape and cross-imprint on the back of the tablet like the Sandoz ones.

I've been taking TEVA 20mg amphetamine/dextroamphetamine for the past 5 years and have been to pharmacies all over the place giving me garbage substitutions from other manufacturers. I used to be able to rely on a local pharmacy to consistently turn out TEVA for my prescriptions every month, but they've come up short for the past few. Might you know any independent or retail pharmacies around or near Los Angeles County who reliably carry TEVA's generic for Adderall? Thank you in advance!

Seems like all the substitutions are crap according to these forums. It's never been more frustrating in my recollection. I honestly don't remember the last time I DIDN'T feel like I was taking a placebo.

The only choices you have imo are to:

1. Call Teva generics and ask if they're actually manufacturing and shipping. Sometimes they say they're on backorder for ingredients and can't manufacture. They're helpful in my experience.

2. CARDINAL, MCKESSON and AMERISOURCEBERGEN supply almost every pharmacy. Find a supplier who has Teva.

3. Then find a pharmacy that uses that supplier.

Insane? Yes it's totally insane and it's all about $$. Why else would GoodRx cash price be double at CVS and Walgreens than almost everyone else? Suppliers send what the pharmacy will pay. A local pharmacist once told me that he paid huge differences between manufacturer/brand.

People have success with Costco I hear.

I was taking Teva generic Adderall from Walgreens for about 7 years,

This last month they dispensed a brand called Camber.

The following is not a joke; after taking their 30 mg tablet, I fall asleep. Something needs to be done or reportedR

Yeah I got the Camber brand and felt so sick. I legit didn’t want to do anything. I thought I was going to die because of how it made me feel. It was like I took a sleeping pill and I was on 15mg IR twice a day. Camber sucks! I reported it and they said they checked on it and are in compliance.

King of Adderall here, been prescribed 2x 30mgs a day for over 5 years now (pretty bad I know) I’m very knowledgeable when it comes to the drug and all the potential side effects, even if they arent listed in the main ones like dry mouth, weigtht loss, etc.

For me TEVA has always been my go to. I’ve been on both XRs and Instants but, I havent had Xrs in years. I find teva is the best one that works for me and has the best quality control. I don’t think there is a “best” generic because It 99% comes down to your body and each person is different. I’ve had Santoz and the one that starts with a “A” and both gave me more irritable side effects and it seemed like each addy had a different amount of mg in it. Those white one’s that turn to powder also were horrible for me too lol. You need to really document your day to day for the whole week also. Eating and Sleep play a bigger role more than anything sometimes.

Ylkes. While my 12 years experience aligns with your experience of Teva.... If you are putting yourself out here as an knowledgeable resource, please, respectfully, make an effort to present accurate information...

So, folks, Santoz is Sandoz. (No experience).
The A is Aurobindo. (Horrible in my experience).

Other manufacturers out there are:

Rhodes - not the worst.
Lannett - I've been ok with them .
Camber made by Ascent - mixed reviews.
MALLINKRODT - mixed reviews.

FYI, ONLY TEVA generics are "authorized generics" which are EXACTLY the same as the non generic brand ... identical. More on that https:/­/­www.authorizedgenerics.com/­

I have been taking 30 mg Sandoz or Teva for years. They work great. The Aurobindo and Camber are sugar pills and should not be on the market. It is a joke, they even are allowed to be sold. Refuse them. 1st off...Call before your prescription is sent and confirm what is in stock. If not I suggest calling the smaller or individually owned pharmacies.. not the big boys. They are facing the same challenges.

I was given post-shortage Teva on July 25th. They are not good but not as bad as Camber.
I did well on Lannett all of 2021. I haven't found any this year except at an independent who is not taking new Adderall patients due to DEA dispensing limits in FL
There are 4 independent pharmacies within 2 miles of my house. None will fill my Adderall even though I have filled scripts at 2 of them over the past 20 years I went to Walgreens for drive through at start of covid. It seems I am stuck there until something changes. I haven't seen Sandoz, but I took the brand name until 2019, so that could be the reason.

Different people react differently

Sandoz = Chill, focused effects. Good for long work hours that doesn't require being active.

But it goes give me anxiety more.

Teva= Focused. semi chill but also it makes me wanna clean up my house, socialize and get s*** done.

Camber= The new generic. Same with Teva so far. Not bad.

Try it yourself with Camber. Don't listen to the only critics, it works great with me so far as I am typing this comment.

It's 2022 and I'm dealing with this now. I'm in jeopardy of losing clients because I can't get out of bed. I'm falling asleep on my way to and from work. I'm so miserable being this exhausted!! Now there is a shortage and ofc only the horrible pink ones seem to be available. Pharmacies no longer say they can order specific manufacturers for customers AND refuse to tell me who they carry. Say it's because of robberies!! What?! Drug addicts are picking off pharmacies based on brands now?!! I can't win. I just know I'm sooo tired I can barely function. I'm getting by doing the bare minimum.

Yes, agreed. So, far Camber is the best if you cannot get brand. Drink lots of water and take it on time, early in the am every day as there will be an adjustment - dry mouth, etc.
