Yellow Pill 36 One Side Sl On The Other

I was normally given the yellow v 3601-10/325pill & at CVS yesterday they gave me a white oblong pill with # M367 on the front also 10/325 in strength . The white oblong does not work for me as well as the yellow v pill. Why not ? I've been thru this with CVS before & even changed CVS locations just to get the yellow v pill. Now that CVS is giving me the white oblong M367. What can I do about it??? They say yellow pill will be out of stock til later. It's sooo frustrating! ## There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one generic to another. For most people the changes are insignificant and have no effect, but you may be sensitive to them. In most cases, if you wait a couple of weeks, your body will adjust to the new ones. I have been taking hydrocodone-APAP 10 / 325 as a generic for NORCO 10 325 for chronic pain, but recently my pharmacy changed the generic medication from a white tablet simply marked 'M367' on one side to a yellow tablet marked with a semi cursive 'V' on one side, and the number '36/01' on the other. The yellow tablets do not seem to work as well; as if maybe they are "slow", or "time released". Is this true? Is there a difference in these medications and how they work, or are released into my system? ## Hello, Caesar! How are you? No, these are both regular release tablets. However, under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics can have fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient, so this one may be a little lower in dosage than the other ...

Just l'd like to know which pill is stronger the yellow 10-325 or the white 10-325mg norco or hydrocodone. ## I'm sure you realize that both have the same active ingredients, and both are the same strength, so you are (in theory) not supposed to be able to tell a difference. However, as a matter of personal preference, I tend to find the yellow ones have a slight higher absorption rate, which has to do a lot with what you're eating before/after taking them, and a little to do with the difference in fillers. If given a choice, I would choose the yellow ones...but you likely won't see a marked difference either way. ## There can be slight fluctuations from one generic to another. It isn't a noticeable difference for most people, but some are sensitive to even the sligh...

a pain Doctor has prescribed this medicine and now the VA Doctor has prescribed a white pill M 367 I just started using 2 days ago .My main problem is that I have used a Nitrate isosorbide for 2 years now and seem to have sleeping problems getting up in the middle of the night and also having a breathing problem. I made a new appointment with my cardiologist who installed 3 stents in my heart 3 years ago but still have 6 more blockages existing with about 70% At 86 years I have not thought about having another operation and hope I can continue using pain medicine for back pain. ## Hello, Edward! How are you doing? I'm sorry about the problems that you're having. Both of the pills you've mentioned are listed in the prescription drug databases as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodon...

Every time I take a yellow Vicodin vs a white one I feel like I'm having a slight allergic reactions. I was just wondering what kind of dye was used so I could stay away from it ## @Jp1, According to the US National Institute of Health, the dye that was used on the yellow "V 36 01" generic (10/325) Vicodin tab by Qualitest is listed as: D & C Yellow #10 lake. In addition to that, it also reportedly contains the following set of binders and fillers: colloidal silicon dioxide + croscarmellose sodium + crospovidone + magnesium stearate + microcrystalline cellulose + povidone + pregelatinized corn starch + stearic acid Was this the yellow Vicodin you were referring to? If not, can you please post back with a pill imprint to narrow it down to a specific tablet? ## Yes thank y...

When it comes to yellow Norco (imprint: V 3601), you can NOT tell if it's counterfeit unless you compare it to a real pill. They look REAL in every sense except that the edges of the pill are crumbly, they lack that shine in the coating, they break easily and the "V" is slightly different on the bottom. Beware. ## How to tell a fake yellow NORCO! READ!! There are a lot of fake yellow Norcos out there. One fool proof way to know if they are fake is the following. The real yellow Norcos with imprint 36 01 on one side and a V on the other, will have a small skinny ring around the V. It's barely visible to the eye, but if you look close enough u will see it. If u touch the pill and your hands are sweaty u can rub it off. The skinny ring around the V starts on the top left co...

Hello Hydrocodone world: My experience is this. You can not beat Name Brand scored NORCO 10/325. However, my experience is Watson is a softer compound, & works faster. Now, the other generic NORCO 10/325 (36 01) scored other side. This is made by QUAILITEST: many people say they suck, because in fact, it is a harder compound to digest/desolve, therefore not getting a good feeling, but the slight slower release makes Quailiest (NORCO) actually kill the pain more so than Watson (GENERIC) 10/325. The watson have the edge, however the Qualitiest last longer & are so dang close, only a Dog may know the difference. Personally me, & all the 4 companies that make generic NORCO can stick it. Your/My Dr. is going to request the yellow dye, I do get allergic reactions minor, but enough t...

"Here" is the link to a picture of mine (left hand side) and the same one I found online next to it. The one I have is on the left. The one on the right is a picture I got off of the web. Every single picture I could find online looked the same shade of yellow and had the same font as the one in the left. Besides the different appearance, I can tell a difference after taking the yellow V (on one side) 3601 (on other) versus taking the white "Watson 853" (all on one side) which I have both of at the moment. I posted on photobucket the one I have and one from the web side to side. When you compare them mine is a slightly darker shade of yellow. It is also very lightly speckled with dark spots. The spots on them almost look like they got there from being in someone's po...

My pharmacy changed my meds from the yellow 10-325 v 3601 norco to the 10-325 white m367 mallinckrodt. I've been taking the yellows for years with no problems. Yellow with a v on one side an 36 slash 01 on othe, oval shape. ## Hello, Sissie! How are you? This is actually a generic for Norco. It is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs if Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

My friends mom fell and broke her back in 2 places. Any way she is seventy two years old and has a really hard time trying to sleep or do anything. She said the pain medicine didn't stop it but helped it enough to where she could stand it. She had to take a little more then usual because she said her left leg was starting to hurt her really bad. Her daughter has pain medicine she takes and was going to give her mom one at bed time but she is afraid it will cause her have a bad drug test. Her daughter's medicine is yellow oval pill with a fancy v on one side and 36 split 01 on the other side. Will this show up and cause her to fail her drug test? ## the v pill with the 36 is a 10mg hydrocodone and 325 apap basically a Vicodin, Lortab, or a norco they probably with not show u on t...
