my dr just put me on methadone hcl 5-325 for a 3 level back fusion and was wondering if this causes bad heartburn? I am a diabetic patient for last 18 years.At present my age is 62 years. previously I was taking half-half tablets daily before lunch & dinner. but after 5 to 6 years it is observer that my post meal sugar level is increased to220. Then i increased dose to1-1 tablet daily before meal. At present my sugar level is about 170 to 180.Now a days I am getting my shoulder joints frozen. i am diabetic when i was 11 years old and started with insulin. i am now 36 years old and on insulin. iwas on human mixtard 3/7 for around 20 years and now after changes of so many doctors, i am now taking mixtard 50/50 in morning 22 units, after lunch carbophage 500 mg and mixtard 30/70 before dinner 17 units but sugar level not under control. what to do. it fluctuates too much. kindly suggest

I have 4 mg of dilaudid but in on about 170mg of methadone, I recently feel and sprained my elbow and was wondering if this will take away the pain, or will I be taking it for no reason ## Hi Joanna from RI, because u r on such a high dose of methadone, taking the 4mg of Dilaudid will probably defeat the purpose. I wouldn't recommend taking the Dilaudid. You probably wouldn't get any effect from it anyway. But, I wouldn't mix the 2. I'm sorry 2 hear about your pain, I suffer everyday with pain. But, I'm on suboxone. Use 2 b on methadone, which helped much more with pain. But, I switched 2 suboxone. What a dumb move I made. I'm also from RI. my 17 year old son starrted ignoring going to school regularly. then shool counsellor told us to take him to any pshcatrist we took him then of the dr. prescribed him attentrol 25mg twice 25mg morning and 50 mg at night and tab nexipride 100mg for 1 week 150mg for 2 weeks and then for 4 weeks. after 4 months attentrol was stopped and prodep 20mg was prescribed. my son became little hyper and totally refused to go to school then we contacted our dr. but we couldnot contact him due to his busy schedule. on a advised of school we went to another dr he had prescribed tab nexitoplus 1 at lunch and tab dicorate er 250mg also at lunch along with neurobion tab. due to this my son keeps on sleeping for longer durations and is unable to do his stuies which he himself wants to do with the help of ...

I had no luck with this medication at all. Im sure it works for some but i didnt like it from the first time i took it. My first dose caused me to be dizzy dilusional (hard to think strait or consentrate or anything) my Dr said stay on it to see if it goes away. It did but swelling in my ankles, insomnea, and stuffed up nose and the weirdest thing when i would eat my heart would race and my bp would go through the roof highest i had it was 170/96 . I was on 80mg lisinopril and 10mg amlodipine for 8+ years with no problems but a caugh found out i was allergic to the licinopril. Now my Dr is trying carvidilol so far so good. my pain dr. who I have been seeing for over a year have end stage brain lung cancer has been writing for 180 8mg diliuidid and 175 mg fentenol patch all is well and working today I saw his asscioaite and she changed my diliudid to 10mg Percocet every 8 hrs is this ethically right my organs are already compromised and now she wants to put acetaminophen into my liver ## Hello, Joey! She's actually not obligated to prescribe you anything and due to the new regulations, unless you have a terminal condition, such as late stage cancer, there are limits as to how much you can be prescribed, so she couldn't keep writing for 180 of the Dilaudid. I am having sugar for last 23 years and so far it was within nice control.but from last feb2014 my sugar fasting is 170 and pp is always more than 210..last two months doctor prescrobed me higher dose of medicine ie tripride 2 morning and night and combiglyzed 5/500.before lunch.but such increased medication has no effect. In this context i would like to say that have thyroid (tsh 6.5) which causes sewelling on my feet of and on as told by different doctor.My present doctor did not pay any heed to this point.
