Not sure if this was asked but whats the difference between IG 213 and xanax? ## Hi Mimi, The pill you're describing marked IG 213, contains 50mgs of Sertraline hydrochloride. The main difference I see here is that Sertraline is classified as a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). This type of medication is supposed to work by increasing the amount of serotonin in your brain, in order to help maintain an even mental balance. Alprazolam (Xanax) on the other hand, is classified as a benzodiazepine, which is said to work by decreasing abnormal excitement in the brain. Even though both meds are in different drug classes, I have also heard of people using anxiety and depression meds interchangeably for either type of case. I guess it all comes down to what you and your doctor d...

The pill imprint IG 213 is in fact 50mgs of Sertraline. I actually had my script filled with those and thought they were "purple footballs" (Xanax), but I looked a little closer and noticed that the numbers weren't normal. So I looked them up online as well and found out to my dismay that Sertraline 50mg is a generic of Zoloft used for depression. Of course, it had me fooled. ## Correct, this tablet contains Sertraline 50 mg (NDC 31722-0213). I believe the Ig 23 should not be labeled as 'Xanax' as it is highly misleading. There is no way it can be considered a Xanax. The introduction of these new drug brands is extremely confusing, particularly for older individuals. It's no surprise that my dad double-checks the markings on his Xanax pills! ## Hello, Missyboo! How are you? The blue, oval tablet with the marking IG 213 is manufactured by Camber Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 50mgs of Sertraline, which is an SSRI antidepressant. So, it is not a Xanax, nor is it a related medication in the same class and it does not work the same. Inactive Ingredients: - Dibasic Calcium Phosphate Dihydrate - Hydroxypropyl Cellulose - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Magnesium Stearate - Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a ...

Qualitest are just as good as Sandoz and Mylan doesn't come close....That being said, Greenstone are better but my second choice is definitely the 2089V's.... ## It seems like most people here on the site are preferring similar brands to what you mentioned. It must have something to do with the percentage of the active ingredient used and/or presence of certain binders and fillers. Glancing over at other generics on the market, some other manufacturers of 1mg tablets are: Amneal, IP 10, yellow, round, this is an extended release, though. Barr Laboratories, B492, yellow, round CorePharma, Cor188, yellow, round, also an extended release. Dava Pharmaceuticals, S902, green oval Mylan Pharmaceuticals, MYLAN A1, blue, round Par Pharmaceutical, 213, white, round, orally disintigrating ...

Just for the record, 2mg Alprazolam ER tablets reportedly carry a National Drug Code of 0603-2133. Hope this helps! ## What about the taste should it be super bitter or not really at all cuz I ran across a batch like that before if sealed bottle but they just seemed weaker and had not much of a taste ## Actavis is not putting even minimum amount of xanex in their meds. Can i know all the colors of a xanax and there millgrams ## The oval blue pill in description is Sertraline Hcl (50 mg). The correct marking is found to be "IG" 213 as opposed to "LG" 213. Sertraline is an antidepressant primarily used to treat major depression, obsessive compulsive, panic, and social anxiety disorders. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... As far as xanax pills go, the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, so pill colors can change overnight and we wouldn't necessarily know it, unless you're looking for a specific brand and dosage. I've personally seen xanax pills (non generic) range in doses from 0.5mg to 3mg, and everything in between that. Does anyone else have inf...
