I've been using Apetito for 2 years now and I sometimes gained weight very fast, like within a week. However I noticed if I stop taking Apetito I end up losing weight. I'd be curious to find out what happens when others stop taking their Apetito pills and if there's any unusual amount of weight loss you may have experienced from doing so? Apetito is okay because it does help increase your appetite, but it really can make you eat a lot which is the reason why you gain weight. I just know that if taken everyday and eating a lot of food then you will naturally end up gaining weight very fast. Yes, Apetito works. ## From what I’ve gathered, Apetito (cyproheptadine) is a prescription medication used to help increase the appetite in people with medical conditions that cause ...

I have been on endep for the past year due to anxiety I have cut down to 10 mg I am sick of taking it as I have been putting on to much weight I am also on sandomigraine .5 in which I take 2 every night for preventative from headaches/migraines but still get them why and what if I was to completely stop taking them ?? ## Hello, Belinda! How are you? Endep is listed by the FDA as containing Amitriptyline, it is a tricyclic antidepressant, so suddenly stopping it could cause withdrawal and rebound effects, which may include nausea, dizziness, fever, chills, diarrhea and rebound depression and/or anxiety. Sandomigran is listed as containing the active ingredient Pizotifen, which is intended to reduce the frequency of migraines, but actually doesn't prevent them all. Stopping it will li...

what happens if you stop taking celexa cold turkey if yoy have been on it for about a year ## Usually with drugs like this you do want to taper off gradually to avoid undergoing heavy withdrawal symptoms, after being on it for a year. I am not a medical professional though, so you should always consult with your doctor during this process to be on the safe side. For more specific details on others personal experiences with Celexa, I'd also check out the discussion thread link below: Discuss/Coming-off-of-Celexa-241032.htm Hope this helps!

if i have been taking a 30 day supply of endocet and run out and then stop taking it after my last pill what will happen??? ## i would like to stop my bupropion xl tabs (300mg) i take one a day. what is the best way to do this, what are the side effects! ## what will happen if i stop taking medicine thyronorme 100mcg ## Regarding the Endocet, even though it is a narcotic, if you've only been taking it for 30 days, stopping it shouldn't result in any severe issues. You may experience some mild withdrawal symptoms, so it may be annoying for a few days, but they should pass fairly quickly. However, everyone is different, so this may not apply to you and if you suffer serious issues you should consult your doctor. The Bupropion works on brain chemicals, so if you've been taking i...

i am on 250mcg off fentanyl patches I change 2 100 ones every 48hours and the 50mcg one every 72 hours if I was to just stop them what would happen to me some help advice would be good ## Hello, Sammy! How are you? If you stopped suddenly, you'd experience pretty severe withdrawals effects, such as rebound pain, dizziness, drowsiness, vomiting and diarrhea. It is best to taper as slowly as possible. Is there anything else I can help with? ## It can be dangerous to stop such a high dose and go cold turkey. Taper off, as you would need a lot of any other opiate to take away the w/d.

What Happens If You Just Stop taking Multaq , will my weight go back, in other words will I lose the 23 lbs that I've gained since I started Maltaq 2 yrs ago.??? ## It's a bit difficult to say, actually. If the weight gain was solely caused by the Multaq then yes, you will most likely lose the weight once you stop taking it. However, if the weight gain was just due to natural aging, being sedentary, a bad diet or etc. then there will likely not be any change, unless the situation is changed and, unfortunately, aging is something we can't change. Learn more Multaq details here. And before you stop taking it, it is vital that you talk to your doctor, because stopping abruptly could result in rebound effects that may be dangerous. Are there any other questions or comments?

How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the problems that you're having. Some of them were likely caused by the sudden withdrawal, when you are adding hormones, your body stops producing any of its own, so stopping abruptly may cause sudden withdrawal symptoms, just like that which happens with actual drugs. However yes, if you are passing out, you need to see a doctor as soon as possible. Why did you stop using it? ## I am 49 Ang have been taking it for 22 months. I can't afford ...

I have been taking Eliquist since October 2015. Three weeks ago, I developed a severe rash on my right calf and hive like bumps on both forearms with constant itching and redness. This is the first time that this has happend since I had a stroke, caused by a fall and hitting my head, in April 2015. I have been diagnosed with A-fib for over 10 years and also take digoxin ( 0.125 mg ) and Plavix during that time prior to the stroke. what are my options for getting off of Eliquis? Right after my stroke, I was given warfarin and had no problems, only now after taking Eliquis have I developed this rash and itching. Any sugestions would be appreciated. Thanks. (I am not taking anything else at this time and I did not pair Bupropion with anything, I am waiting to take my new medication until I can find an answer about my now nonexistent period). ## Yes, cycle irregularities have been known to happen in women that take antidepressants, including Bupropion and due to its effects on the body, it could take a few months for things to balance back out and for your cycle to return. I just began taking Chantex yesterday 2/18/07. I was told to continue to smoke for the 1st week and quit 1 week later. That will mean my quit date is Sunday, 2/25/07. I am a 1 1/2 pack a day smoker and I'm not quite sure this will work for me. When does the urge start to go away? I heard from a friend that if she tries to smoke, she gets very nauseas. I wish this would happen to me so I won't want to smoke but it doesn't. Will it by the 2nd week? I have smoked for almost 30 years, I can't imagine this even working but i've heard so many people having success with it, I thought i have to try it. I don't believe that any others i've known to have success with this drug had smoked as much as myself. Am I suppose to be cutting down this 1st week? How long does it...

I have been on Lesinopril 20mg for a little over a year now. I just stopped taking it 4 days ago, trying to go natural on keeping my BP down. the first day I just did yoga each day, ate low calorie food as roasted veggies, and drank smoothies. My daily drinks consisted of Pomegranate juice and a spoon apple cider vinegar diluted with a cup of water. My average BP for the last 3 days was 121/78. Today I started having a severe headache, blurry vision and body ache in general. Is this common when you stop Lisinopril? While I do believe that I can keep my BP down naturally I am suspicious of the side effect of getting rid of this pill.. ## Hello, Rich! How are you?
