effects of toplep
Hi I have been taking toplep on and off for a number of years. The one reason I stop taking it is because when I get hot from either sunbathing or at gym it makes me itch all over especially my arms and stomach. I have never heard anyone else complain about this. But I know it's the toplep as a week after I stop taking it the itchiness at gym totally goes away. I'm taking 100mg at night is that perhaps too high? I have never experienced any other side effects. Thanks T. ## Hello, Teresa! How are you? If you're taking this to prevent seizures, then you shouldn't be skipping doses. Also my face is breaking out really badly. Could this be cos of the Toplep? ## Have you consulted your doctor? The symptoms you've reported aren't listed as common side effects, and as you noted yourself, loss of appetite is usually more common. They may not be anything to worry about, but you should double check with your doctor to be sure... ...

DRS DONT WANT TO USE IT. ## Topamax, which contains the active ingredient Topiramate, is an anticonvulsant. Some have used it to treat BiPolar disorder, but it is not approved for such uses, which is probably why most doctors do not want to prescribe it. You can read more here: Has anyone else tried this medication for BiPolar disorder? ## I am currently on Toplep 50mg twice a day along with Nuzak 40mg.
