A small round tablet, peach colour (might also be considered pink or light-orange), with no score mark on either side, imprinted on one side with '100' and on the other side with 'novo'. I believe this description is a match for "DOXYCYCLINE" (Doxycycline-Hyclate) - one of several prophylactic medications prescribed when entering a malaria endemic area. This dosage is usually taken once each day, starting one day before entering the a malaria area, and continuing daily throughout and for four weeks after departure.

plain pill N on one side 20 other small almost rectangular ## I haven't located an exact match to this pill, but I do have a hunch that the manufacturer may be Novopharm; now known as Teva-Canada. They have a number of pills marked with "N" on one side and two digits on the other side. For this reason it may be a good idea to try contacting them directly to see if this is one of their own. CAN GALVAS 50MG BE PRESCRIBED IN CONJUNCTION WITH NOVOMIX 24 UNITS BD AND AT WHAT DOSAGE ## Hi Ian, Information I've gathered states that Galvus (vildagliptin) can be combined with other anti-diabetic drugs. It mentioned Metformin being one of those drugs, but does not go into great detail about which other ones are fine to take as well. Because NovoMix contains Insulin and I've read details stating how taking "Vildagliptin 50 mg twice daily exhibited efficacy when added to insulin in a 24 week study", I can only assume that they may be alright to take together; but you would have to discuss proper dosing with your doctor.
