If I'm not getting relief on 1 tab, can I take 1-12? ## Hi Essie, Hydrocodone Apap 5/325mg contains (5 mg) of Hydrocodone + (325 mg) of Acetaminophen. Acetaminophen/Hydrocodone is a combination of two types of pain medicine used to treat moderate to severe pain. The Hydrocodone (related to codeine) is in a class of drugs called narcotic analgesics (which act in the central nervous system [CNS] to relieve pain), while the Acetaminophen (a less potent pain reliever) is used to boost the effects of the Hydrocodone. If you're having problems with the dosage, I would speak with a doctor about increasing it instead of experimenting on your own. I have been on this medicine a very long time. Went to get it filled and they were out. Went back later and got it, but it is not orange like my other ones it is yellow. I can't find it on the internet anywhere. Is this the same medicine. Sticker on bottle says it is same just different name. Why can't I find it. It is same size but color is different and number on it is. The company name on it is QUALIT...this is all on the bottle. ## Hello, Mary! How are you? What are the markings on the tablets? That is what would enable me to check the identification for you. ## Hello Verwon, it is only 170 on one side and they are yellow. They said they were the same just a different color if so why can't I find them? Thank You very much for replying.

FOR INFECTION ## Actually it is not for infection, it is a generic for Vicodin - which is a pain reliever comprised of Acetaminophen and various opioids which act as narcotics. ## To be specific, this contains Acetaminophen and the narcotic pain reliever Hydrocodone. Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness. ## I suffer with severe fibromyalgia..also had t3to t12 fusions, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, ulcerative colitis, GERD, etc. Nothing my Dr. Prescribed has worked for pain management. My Dr said the last one I could try is Cymbalta...if that does not work the next step is narcotics..It reaaly scares me. My question is: what is the differene between opioids and narcodics. Question 2: is cymbalta an opioid?

ON THE PILL IS WATSON 349, NOT357, WHAT THE DIFFERENCE ## Watson 349 is identified as Acetaminophen (500mg) + hydrocodone bitartrate (5mg). There is no pill by Watson marked 357, but there is a pill manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, that makes M357; which is identified as Acetaminophen (500mg) + hydrocodone bitartrate (5mg) The primary noticable differences between these two pills are the different manufacturers as well as each pill containing different inactive ingredients or fillers. Inactive ingredients can effect how efficiently the drug is absorbed into your system and therefore determine how effective it might be over another similar pill with different inactive ingredients. I hope this information helps! ## They are both the same medication, in the same dosage, but th...

WHAT IS THE T FOR ON THE WHITE HYDROCODONE ACETAMINOPHEN 10-325 BY WATSON THIS IS 10-325 T I RECENTLY CHANGED FROM YELLOW 10-325MG TABS TO WHITE ONES I AM NOT CRAZY BUT THE WHITE ONES ARE NOT REALLY HELPING AS WELL WHY IS THAT ## Hi jen, Your not the first to say that the white ones haven't been working as well. There have actually been several complaints to Watson (Actavis) regarding the lack of potency in their "supposedly equivalent" white tablets. They claim that the only difference lies in the removal of 'dye', however that doesn't necessarily explain why they don't work as well, since dye has no real impact on anything but its color. The true answer to their ineffectiveness is still a mystery until the manufacturer opens up and spills the beans. In the ...

Title Hydroco Apap M357. White pill and breaks in half. I am taking this medication for back pain. It causes constipation. What I want to know is how to treat and help eleminate the conspitation problem. ## If you can tolerate it, drink a glass of prune juice, cranberry, pure apple juice, or cran-apple every morning, that's about the best I can tell you to do naturally, if you are really in a bind a dose of milk of magnesia works wonders! ## Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen are the active ingredients in Vicodin and since the Hydrocodone is a narcotic analgesic, constipation is a normal side effect. When I was on narcotics and suffered from problems with constipation from them, I found that taking a daily fiber supplement helped tremendously and it has the added bonus of being something...

How long does it take for the side effects to wear off from the initial dosage? ## The half-life of Hydrocodone is just a little under 4 hours and for it to be completely processed from your body takes between 5 to 6 half-lives, so 20 to 24 hours. What difference between Watson/10-325? ## Both contain Hydrocodone 10 mg and Acetaminophen 325 mg. ## BL is correct! Thus, the only difference is that they have been manufactured by different companies. Watson, of course for the one, and Intrapharm for the other. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Just wondering if this was a typo..7.5/500? All I can find is 7.5/650 and 750. I know it is generic Vicodin but am worried about the directions saying take 1 or 2 when the previous script was for 5-500 and only was directed as take 1... I do not want to take more than before...5-500 was more than enough,.. Need to know if I should break in half..... ## Can you provide the imprint from the tablets? Including all letters, numbers, and/or logos? Then I can double check the dosage for you and the normal dose taken. It is made in that dosage, however, if your doctor did not mention changing your dosage, I would recommend calling their office to check, or checking with your pharmacist. It is not severely higher than the 7.5, but your doctor or pharmacy may have made a mistake. ## about hydroc...
