Sometimes the medication will make you sleepy other times it can speed you up. it can also be prescribed for breathing problems. there are many different reasons why it can be prescribed but the most common is for pain and it really does help for pain.. oval white pill ## THIS IS NOT HYDROCODONE! This is actually a much milder drug, a generic for Darvocet. It contains 650mgs of Acetaminophen and 100mgs of Propoxyphene. Some of the common side effects include: drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation.

It's a very large round white tablet with no writing or marks on it. It's like an extra like selzer pill that you dilute with water and drink an glass of water after you've drank the medicine. what is the difference? ## I believe those are two misspellings of the same drug - the narcotic pain killer Hydrocodone, which is found in many different pain meds paired up with other drugs such as Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, etc. If you disagree, please post back what country you have seen meds spelled that way.

why did they take it of the market? ## Hello, Ed! How are you? Hydrocodone has not been removed from the market. The only thing pulled from the market were the products that contained higher amounts of Acetaminophen. A change was made to lower that to no more than 325mgs per dose. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. How many hydrocodine 10mgs would be equivlent to one 30mg oxycodone? ## You'd need 45mgs of the Hydrocodone to equal 30mgs of the Oxycodone. However, where you meaning Hydromorphone? Because that's the active ingredient in Dilaudid. Learn more Dilaudid details here. I really need to know if I can cut in half the mallinckrodt 7.5 325 hydrocodin. I usually get the scored qualitest 7.5 325 I take one half 4 times aday, but, my pharmacist switched to the unscored tablet. ## Hi yvonne, Usually when there is a score line (divid) embedded into the tablet, it means the manufacturer purposely made it so patients could easily cut it in half. However based on my own past experience having to split a Norco tablet without a score line, I'd still feel safe cutting the pill in half AS LONG AS the drug itself is not in extended-release form; which it doesn't sound like yours is.
