The doctor prescribed Flupen 250 after circumcision. I take 2 pills every 2 hours. My question is, is that the right dosage? My brother cant remember what was said but the package says 2 pills every 2 hours. ## Hello Thenji, According to the NIH Flupen contains the active ingredient Flucloxacillin, which is typically used to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria. The NIH goes on to say that the common adult dosage is 250mg 4 times daily which would come out to taking it every 6 hours, however, it is important to follow the instructions that your doctor gave you as they are most informed of your medical needs. I suggest that you call your doctor and check to see what his administration instructions were. I hope this helps.

Based on my research though, the usual adult dosage tends to be 250mg 4 times daily; which would amount to taking it every 6 hours. I hope this helps! :) ## My mother is 71 years old.
