someone one who takes ferrous sulfate 325 mg ta wants to know what the ta stands for ## Hello, George! How are you? That just stands for tablet. Doctor's sometimes designate such on a prescription, to make sure their patient receives one specific form. For instance, they may specify that they be given tablets only, if they want them to be able to divide the dosage, if necessary, since that cannot be done with capsules. The FDA classifies this as an iron supplement and lists its most common side effects as being dark stool and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I live outside of Birmingham, AL. and have been written a script for 16mg Hydromorphone capsules by my (LAST VISIT) Pain Management Doc. I'm switching to new doc closer to home, but in the meantime I’m sitting here with a handful of IR’s and a Piece of Paper! HELP!... Are the capsules even sold in the US? Thanks in advance! ## Hello, Dan! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem you're having. Yes, they are available here, but it may be hard to find a pharmacy that has them, some have severely cut down how much of these types of medications that they keep in stock. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can the Peach 30mg manufactuerer Aurolife and Pink 30mg mannufacturer Pharcore amphetimine and dextroamphetimine salts be in one prescription? I had one script filled that contained pills from both of these manufactueres. I live in Indiana. ## Yes, in most cases that just means that your pharmacy didn't have enough from one manufacturer to fully fill your prescription, so they had to use some from a different manufacturer, however the active ingredients are still the same. (Though, it never hurts to double check with your pharmacy to be sure.) The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, irritability, anorexia, and insomnia. This does match the description of there 2mg Xanax manufactured by Prizer U.S. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes name brand Xanax bar is what it is ## That's a 2 mg xanax bar, in order to get those kind, your Dr, has to write your prescription for 2 mg xanax and put an X in the box in the bottom left corner of the prescription which means no substitute, no generic drugs just the name.

lil blue pills ## Do you mean Klonopin ? ## Is there any problem with crushing a Klonapin pill to mix into liquid for ingestion? ## Klonopin contains the active ingredient Clonazepam, it is a Benzodiazepine, used to treat nerve and anxiety disorders. As to crushing it to make it easier to take, there should not be a problem with that, this is a regular release tablet, not time released and it is also sold as a sublingual tablet, meant to be dissolved under the tongue to take effect faster. In the future you might wish to ask your doctor about getting a prescription for these, instead. Some common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, irritability and headache. i have pfizer er they are no good. can i make them ir? they are scored on the bottom ## I honestly don't think breaking them would take away their extended release properties, especially if they are in tablet form. None the less it would probably be more dangerous to do it that way rather than getting a different prescription. Your body would be absorbing the full dose at once in a way that it's not meant to. Xanax is one of the last drugs you'd want to OD on, so I can only encourage you to play it safe. The score line is actually just for dividing your dose in two. Have you tried any other brand or generic of Xanax? They all seem to have different levels of potency depending on the manufacturer and which inactive ingredients are present. The FDA also permits generic formula...

Anyone ever heard of ONAX 2mg, and is it an effective generic for Xanax (Alprazalom)? ## They are made by Ocean Manufacturing from Pakistan and are listed as containing 2mgs of Alprazolam, however, since they are not approved for sale and use in the U.S., they are not governed by the same regulations as our prescription medications. That means they may or may not contain Alprazolam and they may or may not use safe manufacturing practices, we really have no way of knowing. If they contain it, you may experience side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, headache and irritability. Learn more: Are there any questions or comments? ## I have these pills (ONAX 2). I have taken xanax for 2 years, and can't sleep without the medication. I believe these are real because they have relieved me...

Walgreens does provide a mailorder for your specific prescription needs such as oxycodone. You will need Group insurance through Blue cross blue shield or through United Health Care. As an anti-inflammatory, what is most effective: 75mg diclofenac NA or 200mg ibuprophen? ## The Diclofenac is much stronger, that is why it is only available by prescription and you can purchase the 200mgs of Ibuprofen over the counter. This, however, also means that side effects, such as: nausea, headache, stomach irritation and ulcers can occur more rapidly and be more serious. Is there anything else I can help you with?

I have a bladder infection only pills I have here are LPS can it help ## Hi Irene, Sorry to hear about your infection, but I actually wasn't able to find any medication by the name of "LPS". Was this meant to be an abbreviation for something else? Depending on the severity of the infection, it sounds like your best bet would be to ask your doctor for a prescription-based antibiotic such as Nitrofurantoin, which is primarily used for treating bladder and urinary tract infections. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Nitrofurantoin Details I hope this helps!

What is the shelf life of Celebrex capsule 200mg. The date on mine is 5/2/09. They have been kept in the original pharmacy container in a cool dark cabinet. Are they still effective? ## When regular prescription tablets and capsules are dispensed, they are required to have a one year shelf life, from the time you get your prescription filled. That means that yours actually expired on 05/02/10. This doesn't mean that they are dangerous to use, but after that date, they can start to lose potency and not be as effective. Have you spoken to your doctor? It may be advisable to just get a new prescription, if you still need to use this medication. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, stomach irritation and headache. ## Taking pills that are expired is not dangerous. They m...

Got prescription filled at a CVS and I was given the Actavis blue capsule 3060 (previously i had Teva and before I had the brand). The Actavis medicine was not only inefficient but It actually made me sick... I got a day-long irritating and unpleasant motion sickness like feeling. At least I know that this only happens once, next time sure I will ask. ## Hello, Soyla! How are you? What do you mean by saying that it was inefficient? This is a time released formulation, so you shouldn't feel some definitive effect of it all at once. ## It does not work because the active ingredient in the Activis brand genetic doesn't have the same active ingredient as Adderal. It's a brand new company in this game. Says so on both their website and the FDAs.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, medications are either known by a brand name, or the generic, which is the name of the active ingredient. I've heard of this med and would like to try it but I don't know if I need a prescription ## Hello, Vicky! How are you? Yes, it requires a prescription from your doctor. Some of the ingredients you've listed are Amitriptyline, Meloxicam and Tramadol, the topi means its for topical use. I'm not sure what the Pril stands for, though. But this is a special product used for topical pain relief. A doctor prescribes it and the ratio of how much of each ingredient they want in the cream, then you'd have to take that prescription to a compounding pharmacy and they would specially make it for you. The FDA lists the typical side effects for such substances as possibly include skin irritation, redness, dryness, itching and rash. Is there anything else I can help with?

I've got a prescription forTriazolam 0.25 mugs, then underneath the list sentence, it states 4(four) What Doe the 4 mean? ## Take 4 Mugs a day I would think? Also be aware that Triazolam is NOT Xanax. ## Hello, Nichole! How are you? It could be the number of refills, or that you are meant to take it 4 times a day, it's hard to be sure without knowing the context. However, your pharmacist should know, when you have it filled, and they can contact your doctor to check, if they aren't sure. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. And that you, again, Eddy! My doctor just changed my prescription of Benicar 20 to Losartan 50 because my insurance won't pay for Benicar. Plus I was having irregular heartbeat. Is this a good change? Or am I going to have problems? ## @Lee, I wish I could tell you, but honestly there's no way to know ahead of time how any drug might end up affecting you since everyone reacts and responds differently. As far as potential side effects go, Losartan does still carry the same/similar risks as Benicar. But this doesn't necessarily mean you'll still be experiencing them. The switch from one medication to the other shouldn't be too far off the edge, since both medications are in the same class of medications called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. They both work by blocking the action of certain ...

Round, rust-colored tablet, no markings. prescription. It is used to treat, or prevent an iron deficiency, which could result in a dangerous anemic condition. They also warn that it may cause stomach irritation, dark stool, and constipation as side effects. Is there anything else I can help with?

i am healty but have a problem with irritable bowl sindrome. I dont take medication for it. Are there any side effects that i should know of if i am taking pankreoflat. Do i have to have a prescribtion. I am 75 years old ## Pankreoflat contains Dimethicone and Pancreatin. The Pancreatin is a digestive enzyme and Dimethicone is used to prevent or treat gas. As to whether or not it requires a prescription, that depends on what country you are in. I know in the U.S. the Pancreatin is an over the counter supplement and the Dimethicone is not available, we use Simethicone, instead. I was prescribed Xanax jan 2013 is it still ok to use did it lose it's potency? ## Hello, Essie! How are you? If you picked it up from your pharmacy in January 2013, that means that it would have expired in January of this year, 2014, so it is almost a year past its expiration. It doesn't get dangerous, once expired, but it does begin to lose potency, so it will no longer work as well as it did, when it was new. Since there are possible risks associated with taking this medication, it also isn't safe to try to take more to make up for the potency loss, thus it would be best to see your doctor for a new prescription and dispose of this one. This medication also carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irrita...
