WHICH HAS BEST CHEMICAL CONTENT FOR B12 DEFICIENCY ## Well, I wouldn't use the term 'Chemical Content' exactly, but the FORM of Vitamin B12 that is best, according to some sources, is called Methylcobalamin B12. If you are having any neurologic problems, then Methylcobalamin is really a MUST- and there are some other benefits of Methylcobalamin. But it is a bit more expensive and if cost is an issue and you don't have neurologic problems, then any one is fine. I live in Indonesia and unfortunately, the labels here are not as complete as it would be in other countries. I am currently taking - 1. Sangobion (Ferrous Gluconate, Manganese, Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Vit C, Folic Acid, Vit B, Sorbitol), 2. Enervon-C Multivitamins, 3. Evening Primrose Oil and 4. Levothyroxine. I think the EPO is gluten-free, but I am not sure of the rest. I would appreciate your feedback as I am new at this and I would hate to have gluten hidden in my vitamins / medicine while I avoid all the foods that I used to love. :( Thank you in advance!

Have you tried any alternatives? The FDA warns that they may cause nausea, dizziness, headache, and constipation as side effects due to their potency. Is Btrex a complex of B1, B6, and B12 vitamins? My doctor has prescribed me this vitamin, and I consider that a 30 day supply is expensive when comparing prices with a B-Complex bottle. Your advise is appreciated. ## I was unable to locate sufficient information on this supplement, possibly due to the spelling or if it's only manufactured overseas. Do you know if the spelling is correct? Also, does this supplement have a label on the back with all the ingredients? I only ask because I can tell you based on the ingredients and price if this is really worth what you are paying and whether or not you can find something with a better nutrition profile for a cheaper or equal cost. I am trying to find out who makes strovite. It seems as though Evertt no longer does. ## Based on information I could find online, Evertt seemed to be the only manufacturer of these vitamins. Have you tried looking up the ingredients to see if there are any other brands that come close to Strovites nutritional profile? If I could suggest a solid multi-vitamin and mineral supplement, I'd have to go with "Garden of Life Vitamin Code" It's comprised of raw vitamins and minerals from whole foods that haven't been denatured or heated.
