Does anyone know how long it take might take if someone has been kick out of a doctors care for violation of contract? To be able to go to another doctor from pain management? ## It's for a friend who violated her contract with a hot UA, positive for meth. It has been 3 yrs. She was seeing a PCP. She wants to start to see a pain management doctor. But she's afraid it will come back to haunt her. Also if the doctors notify the PDMP as well? I have a pain doc that I see monthly, but I'm not going to recommend her if that is in her past. ## Hello, CeRa! How are you? Unfortunately, it is noted in her medical records and they are permanent, so it's going to be difficult to find another doctor that will be willing to take her on as a patient, if she finds one that will, she...

It's looking like a lack of control over good manufacturing processes is what led to the shortage of Drixoral. Schering-Plough recalls Drixoral Cold & Allergy TABLETS REASON: cGMP Deviations (by mfr Actavis) Looks like Actavis has a history of this for many years. (Google search link using Actavis cGMP Deviations) I'd guess Schering-Plough and the FDA dropped the ball on this one.

I am somewhat upset about a phone call that was made to my home phone about a week ago by the doctor office I go to for addiction treatment because now someone knows that I AM receiving addiction treatment services, where I receive those services and the medication I am taking for the addiction. Let it be known that I did NOT give this doctor office consent to talk to ANYONE other than myself about my treatment, EVER. I do have roommates that I don't necessarily want knowing information about my doctor's, medication or course of treatment, it is not their business. The doctor office called my landline number very early on a Tuesday morning and I was asleep so one of my roommates answered the phone. Later in the day, I looked through the caller ID and saw my doctor's office h...

im on felony probation have violated twice due to failing drug test ihave been to rehab 4 times na alone obviously does not work for me tried methadone a few years ago it was a terrible failure for me i decided a couple of months ago to try suboxone it has been a tremendous help so far i have no desire to go back to go back to iv drugs and look forward to being off suboxone in time as well i took a urine test at my last probation appointment it showed a false positive for oxycodone so it was sent to a lab for confirmation. will the lab identify suboxone or just confirm no oxycodone? ## It really depends on what type of test they are using, most just check for the presence of narcotics, not a specific one, since they break down into very similar metabolites. Have you made sure they are a...

I had to be incarcerated on an old probation violation. I have been prescribed 8, 10 mg methadone daily for a little over 7 years, and Oxycodone 30mg 6x daily for the same period. For TWENTY ONE DAYS, I had uncontrollable muscle spasms, and more than a few full blown seizures. Cramps. Diarrhea. Essentially,21 days of the worst Hell on Earth imaginable. How can I get off of Methadone without going through this Hell? I seriously would eat a bullet before going through this Hell again.

Is one allowed to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle if they are prescribed Adipex? Or is it a violation of the Federal Commercial Motor Carrier Regulations? Will Adipex come up on a random lab analysis? ## I don't know the commercial motor vehicle laws. The best advice I can give there is to contact your state DOT and check the details with them, they should know even in regards to federal laws. As to the Adipex, it contains the active ingredient Phentermine and, while it isn't actually checked for on routine lab work, it has been known to appear in test results for Amphetamines. ## Thank you for your post. I appreciate all your input.

What other prescription meds come back as amphetamines besides ranitidine? I haven't done methamphetamine and am being violated for it... I take numerous prescriptions: latuda, fetzima, prilosec, ranitidine, baclofen, relafen, liquid lidocaine and a few others...grrr, I have serious connective tissue disorders and auto immune diseases. ## Hello, Becca! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're experiencing. Among those you've listed, the only one that is known to cause it is the Ranitidine, according to the Redwood Toxicology Laboratory. What are the others that you take and didn't list? There are far too many possibilities for me to be able to list them all for you.

Please help, I just got back from my PO and he said I tested positive for Buprenorphine, I have no idea what it is or how it would come out on a test and I am very concerned he is threatening to violate me. He is sending the sample for additional mass/spec testing, I take Cymblata and Elavil for Antidepressants. I also take Avaprex for weight loss and melatonin. Please help, my life is on the line. ## Have you gotten the additional results back yet? There are only 2 Pain Management clinics here in Yuma AZ Now that the Dr. I was seeing retired. I had been to one of the clinics here and they stopped seeing me because they considered it a violation to recieve pain meds from another Dr. When i was 2000 miles away on vacation. I called in to get the script from them but they wouldn't write it without me actually being there and a few months later i had another simular situation occur. They then proceeded to tell the only other pain clinic here that i was reciving multiple perscriptions from multiple out of state Dr.s while i was under a contract with them. My closest option is 3 hours away unless i can find a local Dr willing to help. Any suggestions.

I am prescribed suboxone for an opiate addiction maintenance program. First, will it show up in a ten panel test? Second, can an employer discriminate if they have already offered me the job? Third, is this violating any privacy laws? ## Yes, Suboxone contains the narcotic Buprenorphine, so it will show up on a test. No, they cannot discriminate, that is illegal. And no, it does not violate any privacy laws. You do not have to discuss with them why you are on it. You just need to inform them that you are on it, when you go in to have the test. They have the right to verify that it is being used under a doctor's orders and it will, more than likely, negate that part of the drug screen test. Are there any questions or comments? ## thank you for replying, it has been a week since I did...

My girl friend is addicted to contraceptive pill and i want have baby. Is there any tablet i can take against her pills as she don't want to get off it? ## Hello, Georges! How are you? No, it would be unethical and a violation of her rights to do that, anyway. She can't be addicted to contraceptives, they aren't habit forming. If she wanted to have a child, she'd just need to stop them for a few months. The best thing to do, would be to just sit down and discuss your wishes with her to find out what you both want out of this relationship. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi I'm Mona can you help me to have a baby. What medicine should i take.

I am just curious because once my current employer found out that I was prescribed to suboxone the head manager is telling me that in order to keep my job I must attend NA meetings. My Friend Smoked 7 Roxys 30 Mg Last Night And He Goes To See His Probation Officer On Thursday Will This Come Out In Urine Test and will he be violated?? ## How did his test turn out? For future reference, most narcotics, such as Oxycodone are detectable in standard urine test for 4 to 5 days, after last dosing. However, there is no way to give a precise time frame, because individual factors are always going to come into play, such as a person's own metabolism, their overall health, activity levels and etc.
