contains ## From what I can find on it, it seems the Vibact DS is a probiotic supplement, these are microorganisms that are said to be beneficial to our health. What country are you in? In India, they are sometimes combined with an antibiotic to treat infections. ## sir i need to know about the ingredients of two medicine .d reason is dt i am a strict veggie so i don't take medicines which holds any kind of animal extraction or anything such .the two medicines are ViBact - DS (from toa pharmaceutical co ltd ,japan) and Nuanxit (flupentixol & melitracen tablets)

Dear Sir, Vibact Ibs Cap is very costly (i.e. Rs30 per tablet). Will you please recommend a more affordable substitute / alternate medicine which is cheaper (i.e. Rs5 per tablet or capsule)? Waiting for your kind favorable reply. Regards, Nimbulkar {edited for privacy}

I have problem with digestion there is little pain in lower side of system. ## if we contiue take vibact tablet , is couses some side effects or not? ## Vibact is a probiotic supplement, used to restore the natural balance of the body, however, since it is not an actual medication, the side effect profiles for it have not been studied, as is done for prescription drugs. And Medha, have you seen a doctor? If you are suffering pain, then it is very important that you do so, to get a proper diagnosis, rather than trying to self treat.

I purchased Vibact while in Mumbai on vacation and I loved it. Is Vibact sold in the United States? Is there an alternative to Vibact? Thank you. ## Yes, under various brand names and generics. Vibact contains natural gut bacteria that can help with digestive problems and it can be found over the counter in most drug stores, vitamin shops and etc. The FDA warns that these supplements sometimes cause flatulence and diarrhea in some people. I have been suffering from green stool issue from 3 months, the doctor suggested me to take VIBACT DS and ARISTOZYME Syrup , i want to know what is the use of these two tablets ## Hello, Santhosh! How are you? Vibist DS is classified by the FDA as an antibiotic, it contains Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim. It is most commonly used to treat or prevent bacterial infections. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Aristozyme is just a multivitamin product, so it may cause some nausea, after taking it. However, green stool is usually just due to something you're eating or drinking. Have you been eating a lot of fruit recently? Drinking apple juice? Eating a lot of vegetables? Has anything changed in your diet?

I have been suffering from IBS from a long time. After a lot of treatment now I have been prescribed Rablet L along with Vibact DS and with this I find a lot of improvement,i.e appetite has increased, giddiness has come down and no. of stools after food has also come down. I have been taing the above for last ten days. However at least once a day I have loose stools though bloating of stomach has stopped. How long can I continue this?? The above has been prescribed by gastro enterologist himself???? What side effects can I expect???? ## Hello Anuradha....
