I'm nearly 5 years in from my breast cancer diagnosis... I was 34 I'm now 39 and at the end of October it will be 5 years clear! My issue is I've had no side effects apart from slight weight gain and bad skin or skin changes, I've ended up with hyper pigmentation which I'd never had before not even during pregnancies but my worst side effect by far has only been affecting me for the last year and a half but it's pretty much constant uncomfortable feeling down below like when you have thrush, it's itchy and annoying but also lots of discharge much more than normal... I started taking Minastrin when Loestrin was discontinued. My doctor assured me that it was the best choice because all of the ingredients were the same. I had zero side effects on Loestrin..so I went with it. Now every time I have intercourse with my boyfriend I get a yeast infection. Currently I have a yeast infection/vaginal irritation that WILL NOT go away. (Haven't had intercourse for 6 weeks...and yes, been tested for STIs) I've been prescribed 3 different medications and I've seen 4 different doctors. I've stopped taking Minastrin and will begin LoLoestrin soon. Has anyone else experienced a problem like this on Minastrin? Did any one while on Lyrica have problems with yeast infections? How about your tongue swelling? ## Yes. I have never had yeast infections, and since starting Lyrica, I have been battling them for 2 months. Lyrica's website mentions nothing about this issue, but I am quite positive that it is directly related. It depends on what type of vaginal bacteria is being treated. Yeast infections are not usually transmitted and neither are all cases of bacterial vaginosis. If your taking Flagyl, that is an antibiotic that's used to treat bacterial infections and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and diarrhea. What did your doctor diagnose you as having?

I have Icaden cream, what is this used for? ## From what I've found, it contains the active ingredient Isoconazole, which is an antifungal medication, so it would most likely be used to treat yeast infections. I really don't have a lot of information on it, since it isn't available in the U.S. Where was this prescribed?

Hi I'm 25 on xarelto for about 2 weeks now. I was on coumadin for 7 months previously but I had vaginal bleeding constantly from about 3 1/2 months in. Doctors attributed it to side effects. Switched to xarelto started on a Sunday night 20mg Monday morning lots of vaginal bleeding (sorry if its tmi) now its been off and on. I also have an IUD my gyno cleared it as any infections or what not. I'm just wondering if any ladies dealt with this on xarelto. I start 10mg tonight so I hope it helps. Iam hoping that any of you experienced the same thing as mine. My OB Gyne prescribed me with Neo Penotran for 7 nights. After i inserted the suppository, i noticed a white cream like discharge when i peed the morning after of in the wee hours of the morning. Can you take Nitrofur Macr 100 mg to treat a vaginal bacteria infection? ## It is an antibiotic and it does treat bacterial infections, but it will not be effective against fungal infections, such as a yeast infection. Learn more: Are there any other questions?

It would be best not to use anything for vaginal use that hasn't been specifically formulated for such use.
