I was prescribed hydrocodone apap 10-325 (yellow pill with 10 36 on it) for back pain. However, I have severe allergies with a bad cough and i noticed that after taking this pill for a few days, my allergies symptoms were greatly improved. My cough was gone. Nothing else has ever helped my allergies. Is this possible?

The yellow orange-ish pill with the imprinted V on one side and 4829 on the other is in fact oxycodone hydrochloride / acetaminophen 10/325. This means 10 mgs of oxycodone hydrochloride and 325 mg of acetaminophen. These are generic forms of percocet, roxicet. So yes, this is a perk 10, as people call it. The V everyone sees is actually an "N" standing for the brand name of certain medications "narcco" narcco is a company that manufactures pain medication and sells them at a generic price, thus reducing the cost of these prescription medication.
