Tylenol 325 Hospital

I have a white round pill with Tylenol on one side and 325 with hospital written underneath. Is this a narcotic? ## No, it is a 325mg Tylenol tablet that is used in hospital and medical settings. I want to know if they have done something different to the Tylenol 3 to make people say they are comparable to hydrocodone 500/325 and why would my stomach not handle the codeine in the Tylenol 3s but the hydrocodone doesn't upset my stomach ## There is no 500/325 Hydrocodone, did you mean 5/325? No, they have not done anything different, but some medications work better for some people than others, which is why there are usually multiple choices available in any given drug class. For example, when given Dilaudid in the hospital, it gave me a severe headache every time, however, it is what they often use in the ER for people that come in with severe migraines. That said, that can also apply to the side effects, while Hydrocodone doesn't bother you, the Codeine in the Tylenol 3 ...

I am super scared... I have taken a total of 17 hydrocodone 10/300 today. I read (afterward) that 90mg of hydrocone is lethal. I have tried to make myself vomit to get the last pills out, but I cant tell if what is coming up is a dissolved pill or just mucus. I dont want to die!! I dont know what to do. I have taken hydrocodone 5/325 for knee pain as needed for about 9months, while waiting to move to a different city. I finally made the move in mid December, and had total knee replacement on Feb. 4. After having morphine and a shot block to that leg, pain in the hospital was manageable. Upon discharge, I was given a prescription for Oxycodone. These worked fine so long as I took two. (rx said " 1-2 tablets"). When these were gone, the doctor replaced them with hydrocodone 7.5/325. These just dont work. To get any relief, I have to take extra Tylenol with them, and then I only get relief for about 3 hours, not 6. Is there an alternative pain med I could ask for? i was drinking last night and do not remember taking /325 pills but they are missing from my bottle i wasdepressed and i think i took them i feel ok but should istill go to hospital or will i be ok by now it is 330 here ## Hello, Cheryl! How are you? Did you go to the hospital? Did you suffer any adverse effects? What medication did you take and how much did you take? Can you please post back and be ore specific? Thanks! From the 325, I'm assuming it's something with Acetaminophen in it, which could be a concern, since too much of it could cause liver damage or liver failure and would need to be checked out by your doctor. ## I agree with Verwon, you need to be checked out by a dr. Combining Acetaminphen/Tylenol with alcohol can also be very dangerous.
