I was just prescribed this medication. I was wondering if the side effect of vomiting will go away eventually? I've only been taking it for 3 days but everyday I get dry heaves. Would it be okay to stop the medication abruptly now? Or do I need to taper already? Thanks ## Hello, Terry! How are you? It should go away with time, once your body gets used to the medication, according to the FDA. Other side effects may include headache, diarrhea, dry mouth, and blurry vision. It usually takes about 4 to 5 weeks. It would be best to speak to your doctor, before stopping it to be sure. Is there anything else I can help with?
