tramadol hcl & apap 37.5/325
## is Tremadol hcl/apap an opiod angenstic? ## No, Tramadol with Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Ultracet is not an opiate narcotic, though it is derived from one and at one point it was classified as one. Learn more Ultracet details here. The classification was changed to place it under general centrally acting analgesics, when it was discovered that while it has the potential to he habit forming and can cause side effects similar to opiates, it doesn't alleviate pain as well as they do. This was actually the opposite of the desired effect, when this compound was being research and created they want to keep the potency of opiates for pain relief, but remove the negative side effects and addiction potential, so this one did a total flip.
