i have been on levothroxine for 5 months now, my pills are light yellow with numbers 516, on one side and letters jsp on the other side. i been losing hair and sometimes i can't sleep. about three days ago that i been getting emotional,by crying feeling depress. ## Hi. I have hypothyroidy. I am allergic to levo thyroxine. Before, my doctor gave me thyroxine sodium, and everything was ok. But now, I can't find it anymore. They gave me eltroxyne and now utyroxe, which cause me a lot of problems (of weigth, pain in the chest...) Please, where could I get THYROXINE SODIUM Thanks a lot

Iam 42 yrs old diagnosed with RA .The dr has prescribed HCQS.iam already on medication with euthyroxine -100mg in the morning. Does these tablets counter effect each other. My wife is taking Thyroxin Sodium 100 mg for thyroid manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline India. Now I am in Canada and was taking the same with the consultation of the Doctor. Now the test is done and the thyroid is low. Now the doctor recommended Synthroid 75 mcg. Thyroxine is the natural hormone that is secreted by the thyroid gland. Hi, I have been on 100mg of thyroxine for around 2yrs now after a total thyroidectomy. I have recently decided to get fit and have started jogging, the first week I felt great and really motivated, now I seem to have crashed and feel lethargic. Just wondering if anyone knows if starting exercising regularly could affect the amount of thyroxine I need?? Or is the exercise just catching up with me lol ## Hello, Angy! How are you? I have been on Levothyroxine for 28 years, now on 100mg a day. I used to take it in the morning but switched to night, don't know why! Anyway what I would like to know does the time you take it affect your weight? ## From the information I've read no, the time of day it's taken shouldn't have an effect on your weight, but it is usually taken in the morning, rather than at night. Have you talked to your doctor about it? ## i have been taking thyroxine for 8 years. Used to be on 125mcg but have been reduced to 75 in last year. Blood test says its enough, so why has my weight shot up to 12 and a half stones? I have never been this big and try to eat healthy. Please help.....

Oval shaped bill but indented in the center so it looks kind of like the figure 8. the # 100 on one side and a line scored through the center on the other side. White is the color of the tablet. ## have two thyroxine doses - one round JSP on one site - 522 with 1/2 splits AND cylindrical or oval pink pill with M or W on one site (think M) and L 13 with split on other side - are these both thryoxine, but different manufacturers? ## To the original poster, I cannot find a tablet that meets the description containing this medication. Lejepson, yes, those are both the same, just made by different companies. They both contain 200mcgs of Thyroxine, used to treat Thryoid disorders. I have been on thyroxine 100 for 22 years but was changed to 75 4 days ago and I feel very agitated could this be withdrawel symptons ## Hello, Trotter! How are you? I take 100mg throxine one day then 150mg the next. I have had terrible headaches for the past 3 months. I wake up with headaches everyday. sometimes finding it hard to even lift my head up. They can last for hours.Is this a common side effect? ## Yes, headaches can be a normal side effect of this medication and they may be aggravated by your daily dosage adjustments. My mother requires the tablets laisted as thyroxine sodium solution based but we are only getting levothyroxine sodium which has a range or side effects from severe pains to crystallization of the tear ducts which required surgery. Are there any other brands (GSK stopped producing the original for Trinidad, W.I.) that we can try to source.
