You say you are taking the generic Kadian...what is the name of it?? ## MS CONTIN ## If your dr. writes for Kadian and accepts a generic form on the script the pharmacy can get it from Alpharma. It is the exact pill but with morphine sulfate on the label. Your pharmacist will have to do the digging and order it in for you in your dose. ## KADIAN vs GENERIC Kadian. I want u to get us a function that enables us to get the name and price of generic medicine for any medicines that are non generic and costly and prescribed by doctors who dont prescribe generic medicines . That wil b very helpful. ## I'm sorry, but this site does not do that type of thing. If you need medication information, there is an alphabetical list towards the top right of each page of our site, where you can find links to the monographs for known U.S. medications. Doing a list, such as what you are asking, would be very difficult, because patents change pretty regularly, with some medications becoming available for generic and others receiving extensions. Is there a specific medication that you needed information on?

It's manufactured by Prizer, but this tablet is not available in the U.S., but they do sell it in many other countries. Learn more Alprazolam details here. Where did you find it? ## Can you send me a picture of a generic yellow 106S xanax please? ## I just purchased some generic xanax pills. they're white bars and they said G 3722 on them. I was told by the pharmacist that she specifically requested the prescription to be ordered from Greenwich because she believes they work better and they're supposed to be higher quality. I guess anyways the G printed on the pill and not saved as a regular g would appear from the alphabet I guess you could say its the capitalGbut its squar...

I'm needing to stop taking Kadian as it's too expensive. Does anyone know the cost of 80 mg Oramorph per month taking one every 12 hours? 60 pill per 30 days. ## I don't think anyone can give you a specific answer, unless you post exactly where you are and what pharmacy you want to buy them at. It is going to vary from area to area around the country. Some prices may be pretty close, but it would still only be a guess. Oramorph is another name brand of Morphine, so it is also liable to be expensive. Have you considered asking your doctor or pharmacist for the generics? There are generic versions of time released Morphine that are much cheaper. ## alphapharm provides an indigent med program for Kadian i get mine for free it cost me 18 dollars to overnight it and 3 days later ...

I want to know all painkillers that are opiates that start with the letter O. I would like to know this because I think my doctor ordered a painkiller that I'm allergic to and it starts with an O and I'm not sure what it is... ## Does Opana a have generic? I was taking hydromorphone but I was getting headaches. What do you recommend? ## @Dutch - off the top of my head (listing both brand and generic names) ... Opana, Oxymorphone, Oxycodone, OxyContin. Do any of those ring a bell? You should check out the category page on Pain Relief, then scroll down past the list of discussions to where it says "Pain Relief Medications", and that list is in alphabetical order so you can just scroll down to drugs starting with "O". Hope this helps!

I would like to share this, for anyone trying to get off Cymbalta; many know it makes it easier for some people to take the capsule apart and take out a bit of the content and reduce it that way. there are 250 tiny balls in there (yes I counted!) which makes it quite tedious, but there's a generic brand called Coperin by Alphapharm, who condensed it to only 6 little pebbles (5mg each) which makes it WAY easier to reduce as you go along. I reduced one pebble every 2 months, but everyone is different. I want to get this out there as this has made a huge difference in my getting off this medication!!

What is the generic form of prazosin, or prazosin alternatives/substitutes (when prescribed for PTSD or anxiety)? ## Prazosin is also minnipress, I've been on it for years for PTSD and it works wonderful ## @Debbie, Minipress is the brand/trade name and Prazosin is the generic name. As far as alternatives go, Prazosin is an "alpha blocker" - [which according to NIH is indicated for treating hypertension], so looking into other drugs of the same classification may be your best bet. The way it lowers blood pressure is by relaxing blood vessels. So I'd imagine that this mechanism is what would have a direct effect on anxiety or PTSD. I don't believe all blood pressure meds work in the same manner (e.g. beta blockers / diuretics), but it goes without sayin' that lowe...

Such a combination isn't available in the U.S., since it combines the Gabapentin, which is considered a pharmaceutical drug, with the other substances that are considered nutritional supplements. The Gabapentin is available, but it requires a doctor's prescription and the other two substances are available over the counter in most drug stores or vitamin shops.
