I have been taking metformin but the last batch I got from the drugstore looked different it was smaller and the labelling was different, it has a m at the top on one side and 500 under it at the bottom of the same side. The other side just has a cut line on it. When I asked the pharmacy about this they said it has new on the bottle. I just want to make sure this is not a counterfeit pill as I can not find it anywhere on the internet ## I had the same problem and called the Pharmacy. They gave me the same answer, They said they are the same pill but the manufacturer sent new ones saying they are new and improved.
