From what I could gather, Folnew softgels reportedly contain folic acid as the primary ingredient; which they market for use in treating folate-deficiency anemia. I haven't come across any other specific details relating to the ingredients, however, the manufacturer is listed as Cadila Pharmaceuticals, if you wanted to try and contact them directly for more information. Is this safe to take? Ther was something on media of two ingredients in this med that had been found as unsafe. My husband was prescribed Folbee Tab Brec . I would like to know what these ingredients are and if it is safe for my husband to continue this supplement? ## Hi Molly, Are you referring to the Folbee B vitamin complex tablets? If so, I haven't read any reports deeming it unsafe to use. Maybe there is some sort of "inactive" ingredient that is causing problems? I know propylene glycol is an inactive ingredient that is commonly used in some vitamins and prescription drugs as well as beauty products (yuck!), it can be very toxic and harmful to the body over time. This is supposed to be a good supplement for women to take while pregnant. "Women who had 4 mg of folic acid in their systems due to supplementing 3 months before childbirth significantly reduced the risk of NTD within the fetus. oval shape, color is pink ## I dont know if this is causing it but I am a runner and coincidentally around when I started taking the Folbic Tab Brenckrdg - I feel that I get a tad bit more exhausted while running. Also, notice a sour taste in my mouth and tend to consume more water than I am used to. Is it the Folbic? ## The sour taste and thirst can happen with some vitamin supplements, however I don't see anything regarding the tiredness. I visited a gynaec and the doctor said she identified an ulcer. Doctor suggested I take the folvite tablet until pregnancy.
