Having a lot of trouble finding a doctor that will help me here. ## You will need to have a copy of your medical records from your previous dr or the dr new dr may offer to get them. Each dr has their own way of treating their patients. A new dr may or may not give you the same meds or the same dose that your previous dr did. I was recently taken off pain management after a year-and-a-half. According to my doctor I tested positive for my nude traces of benzodiazepine in my blood work. I have never heard of this before nor was I ever prescribed it. What I was prescribed was Naproxen every month which I later discovered will show up as a false positive for a benzo. I'm 50 years old, was an athlete, have had 18 surgeries. My Pain Scale morning noon and night seems to be a constant 8 and to the point where I feel like I'm actually losing my mind.
