Some Are Yellow R White

Ok, I don't care what people say, pharmacy or manufacturer, the yellow norcos are stronger and work different. It is getting extremely more and more difficult to find the yellow norcos. From what I can tell, the major pharmacy's, ie: WalMart, cvs, Walgreens, target, etc, all have either the plain white ones, it the white ones with reddish/pinkish dots on them, and the smaller mom and pop(good neighborhood pharmacy's) have the yellow. Last month I filled mine at target, got the white oblong norcos (10/325). Today, I filled mine at a small good neighborhood pharmacy in Ontario, California, name available upon request, and I got the yellow Watson Norco. Again, huge difference. I don't think they quit making them, I just think that when buying in bulk as a large pharmacy doe...

ok the yellow oblong 10/325 is a percocet 10mg...is the white oblong 10/325 the same thing just a different company??? ## no it is actually hydrocodone or vicodine (name brand) 10 is the vicodine the 325 is aceteminifin name brand is norko ## Does anyone know what if any is the difference between the yellow oblong percocet and the small yellow round percocet? They both are PERCOCET they both are 10/325 I'm just wondering if it's just the company or if there is actually a difference in them ## Hydrocodone is not percocet. It is Lorcet. Oxycodone is percocet ## To clarify, Norco, Lorcet, Vicodin, and Lortab contain Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, while Percocet contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, which I believe is what Teerose was trying to convey. They are both opiate narcotics...

White, yellow, and I believe dark green, possibly brown capsule type pill. No markings. It is a solid pill, not one that can be broken open. Half is the green color and the other half is split yellow and white. ## Hi Carolyn, U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo of some kind) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified. Odds are that it could either be manufactured outside of the U.S. or that it is an over the counter medication, as OTC meds aren't required to be listed in the drug databases. If you're able to, I would consider taking the pill over to your local pharmacy and having it analyzed by their team to see if they can come up with anything. And as a last resort, you coul...

IWAS GIVEN YELLOW OVAL PILL WITH PAR ON ONESIDE AND 035 ON THE OTHER FOR BACK PAIN?? DOES IT HELP? I THOUGHT IT WAS ONLY FOR MOTOIN SICKNESS?? PLEASE CAN SOMEONE SHINE SOME LIGHT ON THIS FOR ME PLEASE? ## The imprint "par 035" is identified as Meclizine hydrochloride (25 mg). Meclizine is effective in inhibiting the symptoms of motion sickness, such as nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. But I see nothing about this drug being used to manage inflammation or pain. It belongs to the drug class of anticholinergic antiemetics, and not pain relievers. I do find it odd that he or she would prescribe something for motion sickness when you have back pain. I can only wonder if someone else's prescription got mixed up with yours. Have you brought this up with your doctor yet?

Hi, I am taking Percocet 10/325 for back, hip and leg pain. I recently had a multiple level Lamonectomy. When I was first prescribed this medication the pills were oblong and white. The next prescription that was filled was percocet 10/325 as well, however they were round, yellow and they seemed so much stronger. The white ones I had in the first prescription seemed to leave a lot of white residue in my medicine bottle. The yellow did not. The yellow round ones relieved my pain much better and I did not have to take as often. Both being generic and were 10/325 could it be the way they metabolize in your system? Could it be that they have different inactive ingredients? Thanks in advance. ## There can slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one generic to the oth...

The pill is round yellow on one side with 350 on it, and the back side of the pill is plain white. ## Hi Jennifer, Based on your description, I came across an image of a small round pill (half yellow/half white) with the number 350 in black print on one side and blank on the other. However two different photographs (courtesy of CVS) depict the "350" potentially being on either-colored half and one side remaining blank, which is probably common in the manufacturing process I'd imagine. At any rate, this particular pill is reported to be a Tylenol Arthritis Pain Relief ER tab, containing Acetaminophen. I haven't found any specific details on the dosage or manufacturer, but if you run a search on google images for "pill 350 Arthritis Pain Relief ER" you'll be ab...

Drug store refiiled my prescription with a white oblong pill M367. I have been taking a yellow oblong pill 35 01 with a v on one side. Both I know are Hydrocondon-Acetaminopn 10-325. I recognize the M and V as the trademark manufacturer. I have found the yellow pill to be more effective than the white. Is this possible? ## Hi Karen, Different manufacturers use different inactive ingredients, binders, fillers etc...when making their "unique" formulations so it's possible that something that was used in the white pill could be causing your body to metabolize it differently than the yellow one. Sometimes those little things can effect us in a big way. I'm frustratingly surprised that doctor's and pharmacists don't mention these kinds of details to their patients. Ha...

A something on yellow side and 30 mg on white side. i found 2 capsules in sons pocket what could this be? ## I apologize, but I am not quite understanding what you are saying the imprint is. Is just the letter A and 30mg, or is there more to it? I've tried looking under that and haven't found anything, so far, but I'll keep trying. However, if you can post back with more information, it would be very helpful. ## Hi, I found a yellow and white capsule in my house today, on the yellow part its imprinted NT and the white side is imprinted 25mg and 710 right underneath where it reads 25mg ## Yellow and white capsule oval shaped half white half yellow ,,reading nt 25mg 710 found in sons room and on the floor by my door

Pill has imprint "ora" on one side, there may have been room for another letter on each side. No imprint on other side, not a trace. What is this pill!? ## Hello, Sky! How are you? I can't be completely certain, since it's an older tablet, but it might be an early version of Orapred. It's a brand name for the steroid Prednisolone, which is now manufactured by Alliant Pharnaceuticals. They still use the ORA on one side, but have the dosage listed on the other. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, weight gain and fluid retention. It is commonly used to treat allergic reactions, swelling and immune disorders. Can anyone confirm this?

does dristan extra strength caplets affect one's sleep? ## Hello, Dennis! How are you? Yes, the U.S. FDA did list insomnia, anxiety, and nervousness, as being among its typical side effects, when it was available here. It kind of has a stimulant type of effect. I've been taking the Watson 853 yellow hydro /acetaminophen for several years. I get them from a well known pharmacy company. My most recent script was filled and I noticed the color was white, even though the markings of Watson 853 are identical to the light yellow pill. There was a huge difference in side effects with the new pill; constipation, dry mouth, and a little nasal congestion that I typically get from preservatives like sulfites. Many people get these symptoms when taking narcotics, but I have been fortunate with the hydrocodone as it has never affected me that way (oxycodone does however) I called the pharmacist and he said he couldn't get the yellow tabs anymore but wouldn't say one way or the other whether the formulation or fillers in the white pill differ fr...

Can you tell me what this pill is? ## Hello, Sun! How are you? From what I can find, it seems this capsule contains 200mgs of Celecoxib, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that used to treat pain, fever and swelling. - ## Are there any markings on the capsule? Something can only be identified with the imprint on it, the colors don't actually mean anything. If there are no markings, then I strongly suspect it is something available over the counter. M on one side and 3354 on the other. Round pill half white and the other yellow. ## Hello, Maxiumus! How are you? So far, I've been unable to find anything that matches this description and with that dual coloring, I'm tending to suspect it might be something that's available over the counter. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? Can you also please double check those numbers for me and post back? Thanks! ## This tablet is an old Norgesic Forte (a light muscle relaxer with caffeine and aspirin).
